I think there will be an update, but he will split it and just release 300 renders (as he did it before).
I think there will be an excuse for why he can't release, and he'll do a poll asking his Patreons if he should release a partial update, or wait until hes finished to release the whole lot. And then he will just chose to wait anyway and ban anyone who says he should make a release.

After the dev saved up every month around 8 to 10 k a month im sure he can handle pasuing the payments 1 month
And delay the update again in one or two days
Must be nice raking in all that money and just enjoy ureself while giving random exuses once a month
This time the update was ready ... But he wanted to remodel the interior and exterior of the house
In a few days he will delay it and say im gonna remodel the school building so its gonna take me another 2 or 3 weeks

Is it possible that tomorrow is the time for the return of the phrase "Adjust your pledges accordingly" after the delay?

Let's face reality here. We will either see an update soon or we will get an update from Dr. Pink Cake or one of the other Devs who are actually working on their games. Remember that BD said that this was just a hobby. So again we will see if BD actually has been working on this so called update or he's just blowing smoke up his supporters asses.

You got to appreciate the optimism. I'd really like to believe after that last post he made that he'll release it no matter what (like he claimed he would), but then reality sets in and I'm almost certain he'll pull another excuse out.
