Imagine if he suddenly decided, after making 75% of the update, that the basketball court needs to be redesigned (like he did with the house). That might mean changing the entire update, but he can't say that because people would think its stupid, so he makes a lame excuse (or no excuse at all) to delay the update in the hope that he can buy himself time to actually complete it.

Except it doesn't work, he needs more time. So he makes another small-lie to buy a few more days, and then another, and another. And before you know it, hes having his pancreas out and hes got the flu and an eye infection and his grandads dead and his computer watercooler leaked and his PA's house was in the eye of a storm and and and... and its chaos!

This would be acceptable if BD had some credibility and wasn't just working the grift on people. As of now, NO ONE should believe a word he says ever. His actions have demonstrated that he is either done with this game entirely but is addicted to the money. Or he is suffering from a severe onset of psychosis and is currently in the process of losing his mind. Since this Mckenzie figure is clearly BD I honestly think he's bat shit crazy. Obviously, through his own brain drops and his alter ego's discord lurking correspondences he has no plan regarding updates and releases going forward, he's at such a loss that he blurted out an asinine feat of completing an update every 9 days.... was gonna put the logo on the face but i'm too lazy

He really should pivot his patreon to being therapy-based. That's clearly where his actual passion lies - he writes 28 paragraph posts about how much he's suffering all the time. If he poured that passion into the game "he loves," he'd have finished it years ago.

When you ban people for being honest, you're basically creating a restaurant scenario. Meaning, 9/10 people who don't like your restaurant won't tell you, they just either won't go or they won't praise it. Would be interesting to see the volume of praise over the last couple years - that's going to tell you more about fanbase satisfaction than how much openly negative feedback there is (since that can be removed.) Would be interested to see the volume of overall engagement as well, for the same reasons.

Then they also said "they do plan on keeping a small reserve of renders just in case of any issues."... I don't even want to put too much thought into that statement lmao.

You'd think a PR person who isn't a sock puppet for the creator would come to the conclusion that the biggest issue right now is the lack of released renders, not the ones "held in reserve."

No, all you have to do is scroll back for about 60-90 seconds. There's a ton of information about the current status that someone can find by skimming for literally just one minute.

Your logic is perfectly backwards, removing the thread removes the one place where people who have been ripped off can express it. If you're having trouble reading this thread without the help of tags, I dunno what to tell you. When I first came to this thread, I didn't start at page 1. I came to the newest page to see if I was the only one who was upset. Pleasantly, I was not.
