You'd think he would have made his alter ego good at their job since he's not good at his.

2k+ renders promised since November and it's only 2.4k because he's been stuck inside his head trying to create a basketball game. Bro thinks he is actually on the team.

He could have just put a black screen and wrote "MC's team lost 100-10 because he sat out" and continued from there and I doubt 95% of the people playing the game would have even cared.

Avoided the abandoned tag on here by lying and got more eyes on his game when he wasn't actually doing anything.

I know this isn't the funny meme post some of you are used to me making but as a former Patreon of his (I ended when the November update didn't come out at the promised date), it's just sickening at this point that he got away with this.

Scummy thing is, BD deletes all of his "update delayed" posts on Patreon, so nobody can actually see what is happening. If you somehow manage to see the comments, you might see a few people dragging BD but the rest are people attacking them because they don't actually know his history.

Thanks for posting these man. I think this really gives potential subscribers a good internal view of what to expect. To what Mack said about the post being scrubbed/patron only, I(we) get that the posts on Patreon are subs only, but if they title them potential subs can still see the posts thumbnail, just not it's content and they would clearly see the lack of content from BD.

If I was BD and Mack was my PR person, I'd be PISSED if her response after you laying it all out like that and regarding the money comment was "it's just a porn game". Yes, it's true the subs can cancel anytime, but this is how he feeds his family. This is how she puts money towards her college debt. Un-fucking-real. Even if BD pulls off the March date and it's the best update we've ever scene, I'll never sub to him after all I've seen.

Yea you can kind of pinpoint when I decided to bow out of the conversation. I just think it's hilarious that you can go through the "announcements" channel on his discord and get linked to posts that are straight up deleted. In the past it got big because of the decent renders, consistent updates, good-enough writing and the wholesome vibe.
Now the story is a mess, the renders are honestly subpar and jarring, brubru will hunt your dreams forever, 600 LI's and the wholesome vibe became more of a 'black mirror'esque soulless endorphins releasing simulation for human batteries-vibe.

You know what's lacking from those screenshots? Testing.

Who in the hell is doing the testing? Most of the highly-respected devs and dev teams make incremental beta releases to supporters to stress-test each new build. Perhaps I missing something, but usually there is chatter around betas and that's utterly lacking in those screens.

Regardless of testing, this is going to be the Daikatana or Duke Nukem Forever of adult VNs - even if it does come out, it will never live up to expectations.

Actually Preglover was speaking out way, way back (a year or more ago). Then the thread was handled by another mod (or mods) who pruned a lot of the criticism (anything that could be viewed as "attacking" Braindrop).

It's tough for the mods because they have to protect F95 most of all. But I think the situation with WMV has just gotten to the point where it's very hard to sit back and not call out the BS.
