I believe that I have better and more honest communication with the dev's I support by using both the comment feature and DM feature on Patreon/SS to communicate with them versus attempting to communicate with the devs on F95.

I don't expect the devs I support to wade through a few pages to dozens of pages sorting the wheat from the chaff to find good/valid feedback, particularly the most important kind - the feedback from those who have actual skin in the game - supporters who pay the dev $ in support of their creative efforts.

I believe that your experience is very different than my experience:

You are approaching your experience from a dev perspective about your specific creation/creations And you have chosen to be an active part of discussions on the thread(s) supporting what you create.

I don't know what your creation(s) are, and I have likely never seen the F95 threads for your specific creation/creations.

I am focused on All my interactions with all my supported devs, comparing 5+ years of interactions with all those devs on Patreon/SS with my ability to share effectively on all the F95 threads (which vary Quite a bit in terms of toxicity and simple number of pages a dev needs to read through if a dev is to be fully conversant with everything said on those F95 pages).

BTW - I also know some of my devs have left F95 due to the toxicity of their threads - they no longer participate or respond to Anyone on F95 and have told their supporters to use Patreon/SS since they will no longer be involved with the F95 thread for their creation.

If, after reading my description of why I believe my use of Patreon/SS is a better platform for discussion and providing feedback to a dev, you still disagree with me, then we must agree to disagree.

as to the rest of your post that just personally preference really.. and no one is saying a dev has to be here thats up to them but if a big part of the sub base comes from here and the dev decides to alienate them well thats on them if they lose subs over it.

People just generally like using third party sources instead for many reason
1, Dev can't delete the bad reviews/posts,
2, Dev can't censor anything (cause they have no power to)

So most devs discord and patron pages just becomes and echo chamber to the point where some devs mods literally ban/kick anyone who says anything that isn't just praising and kissing the devs asshole, and that is what most people don't like its that simple... Now im not saying every dev does that but the few that do have spoiled it for the rest


its kool if you like interacting on patron but most people simple don't like lets look at BD's patron. he averages about 20 comments per post out over 3,000 subs thats pretty bad, thats 0.66~% interaction out of subs... this thread got double that in only 24 hours... people just perfer a platform like this over patron when it comes to discussing. Agian i'm not saying a dev has to be here or anything but it is quite clear that more people would/will interact here more so then on patron.

It seems like there is some rework of the older chapters. His dev log goes into specifics.
From what I see, the updates offer new content. There may be some stuff in the update that patches old content along the way. I have only done a full replay once. There were changes made.
I know that is not specifics that may help you. Sorry about that.

Story wise it has zero bearing on anything. There is no hole in the story or timeline. He just shifted what the days were called. It goes from day 10 to 30 or something close to that but there is no gap in the narrative.

Okay, guy. Of course the game is about fetishes, but it's specifically not about the fetish where someone else fucks your girl. Throughout the entire game it's reiterated that the MC will never share like that, Jamie specifically says that the MC is the only person she ever wants to be with. Part of the problem absolutely is about characterization because the girls were characterized in that way to fit into a game with a harem. Ultimately, while it is slightly obnoxious, it doesn't bother me that much because under no circumstances would I ever play the trans route anyway.
