Sorry to tell you everyone but the update will be delayed. I know I promised to release it today but I can't and that makes me sad.

I was on my way to upload the new content but as I was about to click I heard a faint meow. Not one to ignore a noise I investigated. My neighbors cat was stuck in a tree. I managed to climb the tree and rescue the cat but on my way back to my PC a bus full of people crashed into an orphanage, exploding into a ball of flames. Not one to ignore people in need I rushed into the burning building. I pulled every single person out of there including their puppy. After all it was an orphan too.

Now I was bound and determined to click that upload button but lo and behold I got hit by a car. I now have 65 broken bones, 14 ruptured organs, severe concussion, flat tire, low mortgage rates, and in a coma. My nurse, her name is MacKenzie, is currently writing this as I tell her.

But yeah, thank you for staying subbed to me. I know its not what you want to hear but I'll try to get the update out by the end of 2023.

You had me up until the part where you promised to get the update out by the end of 2023. Braindrop likes to set hard release dates that he never meets. You've inspired me to write my own bogus delay post. I tried to predict exactly what he'd say in my own words.

I really didn't want to be writing this, but I'm not going to be able to get the update out today.

I was completely ready to release it as planned but my computer has finally stopped working entirely. Unfortunately this means I'm not going to be able to release today as promised.

I'm disappointed in myself and feel horrible that I let you guys down again. I really wanted to do better this time, but I came up short yet again. I'm just going to have to take the L on this one and salvage this as best as I can.

The plan right now is to replace my computer and complete episode 13 and just release everything all at once. I'm not sure exactly when it will be done, but I'd expect it to be around late-November or early-December.

So yeah, no update but once my computer is fixed there should be no more problems and I'll be all good to dive in and get to work. I'm going to go ahead and paused pledges through December. I appreciate you guys dealing with me and still supporting me and I'll do my best to not let you down again.

Hard disagree. Anytime an artist changes his vision to kowtow to complainers the result is a loss of passion for the project. BD had a vision for an MC that was mega-superstar with a monster cock that all (literally) the ladies flock to. Now MC is benched, not traveling with the team, with merely above average endowment (i.e., not bigger than some real life pornstars). No wonder BD doesn't have the motivation to pump out the updates! If your vision clashes with the artists, you have the right to voice that opinion, but let the artist make their game or make your own if you prefer to self-insert as Mr. Six Incher.

I don't think I can agree that every change related to fan input causes a loss of passion for the project. I absolutely believe that it opens you up to problems. I don't think anyone wants to see a six-inch dick, but I am positive that the majority of adult fans do not want to see a two-foot dinodickasaur.

If he is in coma how can he tell the nurse what to write? Ealier he hired a MacKenzie to help with the script now the nurse also is MacKenzie call it coincidence.

I stopped following the news for this VN for a while, and I had no idea it was supposed to be update day (with no news about it, some things never change, sadly).
I randomly looked at some previews, and it looked like many of the girls lost the 'duck face'. Is it really gone, or is it still prevalent?
At this point I won't even mention the beautiful tradition of BD setting up a date he cannot reach, but I'm genuinely curious to know if the game improved in other areas at least.

Not sure when you stopped playing, sooo...
I would say generally in looks it improved. (Like background assets or clothes.)
But the duckface is still a major "feature", and IMO the storytelling got worse as well. (At least in the game, the excuses are hit or miss.)
