Literally all this dude needs to do is just be like the devs that post weekly progress reports. Just be honest and candid about the work that was completed in the last week, maybe throw in a teaser image or two, and don't promise bullshit release dates. Just keep releasing those weekly updates until you're CERTAIN you're at a good place to release an episode, and boom, no one really has any problems or feels like they're getting worked or scammed, and the community isn't left in the dark. Then if people feel like it's been too long since the last release, they can just simply unsubscribe, no harm no foul. But it being a long time since the last release AND getting poor communication AND being misled about release dates repeatedly just ain't it

What the fuck is "full update" even in reference to? 8700 renders? 170 animations? Is this dude counting everything in Season 2 Chapter 1 or something? Is that for the whole game?

That is the total amount of content to date including the supposed update (the entire game). Which can seem impressive...until you realize the game is coming up on 5 years since the first release.

I honestly don't think it's Writer's Block, I think it's character overload. He created far, far FAR too many characters, and writing for them all, crafting the story to fit ALL OF THEM in is an impossible task. What's worse? He keeps introducing more and more. Just think about it. We've got this huge roster of girls, some of whom have had no forward momentum in ages (Stacy, Ruby, Kimmy, Yuki, Veronica/Vanessa, etc.) and he keeps adding more characters in (The colors, the rich women, Zoey's mother, the two movie stars) and he concentrates on those instead of actually writing for the older characters.

That was a nice update.
No dalliah yet, hope to finally see what she looks like in the next update.
I hope to see Zoelle added to the Harem and finally see Jasmine come out of her shell.
Jasmine is way too sexy not to focus more on her date with the main character and make it memorable.
I'm also hoping to see at bed time, some or all the girls take turns in sleeping arrangements with the main character.
2 or 3 per nigh or all of them in no specific order.
Rachael would have to be in the middle of all that, not every, night but it would be nice to see.
Willabell would be a nice addition to the Harem too.
I can think of a couple of more that would be hard to get into a relatioonaship with the main character but worth the try.
So many posibilities in this game, I hope it never ends.

My tip: stay as far away from this as possible. Not even BD's quality for lame excuses has evolved significantly. His status updates are a massive pile of blah blah blah in which he usually contradicts himself 2-3 or so times.

Yeah, mod's often give this option, but it kind of breaks the imersion when you get to the prerendered images that have a name seperate than the one you chose. I have a similar issue with my game because the mod lets you change the last name. I do my best to use the last name as little as possible, but it's easier in my game than it is in one where the MC wears a sports jersey. I do understand the desire to change the last name though. Every time I find a game that lets me change both the first and last name, I play as Phillip Herkhunt. (if you dont get the joke, say the name outloud a couple of times, you'll hear it.)

I've long since gave up home on this game ever having consistent releases. If the update comes, great. If not, then it's whatever. I'll bet we see another update around December.

Here's the thing, he still has over 3500 subs. It used to be more. He had all the money he needed to hire someone to actually work on the game with him to get it to come out consistently and in large updates. He didn't because he doesn't like anyone else working on it but him (according to him) where as I think he was just happy with all the money and attention he got. Still, the amount of people paying him is still rather large, so even if they were all $1 tier people, he's still making over 3500 a month. Thought I imagine it's a lot more than that. So it can't be that he has another job, he wouldn't need it. It can't be he's hurting for tech, because he should be able to be running 3 or more pure render PC's at this point.

So I'd honestly just have to say he has a case of the fuck it's and enjoys the money he gets.

I can give you a pretty concise TL : DR for every brain drop from now until the end of the game (whether that is completed, or abandoned).

excuse, sob story, excuse, MH Problem, excuse, another sob story, gotta make it perfect, (and this is a new one) out when it is ready. The only variation you will ever see is in the out when it is ready, I am still holding out hope for the unrealistic release timeline return, lol.


If you're waiting for the release here, honestly just wait to be surprised by it's drop. you'll thank yourself for it.

I think it's also fair to hypothesize that, given his initial output, he was genuinely passionate about the game at one point but, due to a lack of planning, he was unable to continue his story because, quite frankly, it didn't exist

I'm generally against devs remaking their games but, in BD's case, I would actively encourage him to do. Step 1 would be to write his story, beginning-middle-end. Once that's done, start making the game again
