on top of that, imagine them putting in more effort than him. he would look pretty bad. And progressing the story at a steady rate means it´s going to end faster. and with that, he would lose his income. so why should he work and progress the not existing story if he can milk for years on end?

i mean, he´s literally making up the "story" (if you want to call it that) on the fly. that´s the only reasonable explanation why we got a princess, a ninja girl, mobsters and some horny cougars on a yacht. I wouldn´t even be surprised if he adds timetravel or magic in the future. at least that´d explain how MC turns everyone he´s getting involved with into ducks.

Yeah it's everything this game could have been . You can feel the actual passion for the sport , beyond the porn plot . It actually attempts to explain it to laymen . And to use it as a proper plot device , not just initial exposure . And of course the game is quite pretty , with interesting characters . MC is an actual character not just a vehicle and self insert .Sheesh. whoever it was in here that recommended "move the chains", THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. that game is already more than this shitshow ever wasStory, growth, and most of all, the chicks don´t just fall on your dick or tell you that you´re the greatest.

Which is hilarious in its own right, because he isn't even doing what he is supposed to be, yet doesn't trust someone else whom he'd hire, to do any of the work.

Thats the part that kills me! does he not have any other ideas? I can't wait to get to a place that I can afford to hire on help. I have 16 other game ideas waiting in the wings! If I don't eventually hire help, I will never finish them all!
When arguably the biggest problem is missing dates, that isn't a quality issue... that is a work ethic issue, which is doing the work.
Edit: if he does the work, gets the content out and it is shit, that would be a quality issue. That hasn't been a massive problem for him, it's been getting it out.

preglovr12 was meaning that the reason BD won't hire help is because he doesn't trust anyone elses quality of work.
I can understand the point that is being made, but quality is far easier to address than a shit work ethic. Hiring some help and coaching up a bit on quality isn't a gigantic task, and would help himself.

And even if that weren't true, BD wouldn't be a good project manager. Which anyone who hires help needs to be.

This just reminded me of something I think about from time to time. Have you ever noticed how often people try to play multiple roles and just can't pull it off? Either they're logged into the wrong account while commenting, forget whose perspective they're supposed to be speaking from (e.g., my car versus his car), or screw up the timings of their separate characters. You can even see this in poorly directed movies where someone's on the phone. Actors end up having entire conversations without actually giving the imaginary other person enough time to speak entire sentences between lines. A good director would assist by having the actor actually be on the phone with someone to force realistic delays between lines, but too often this just doesn't happen.
I've seen people pre-write their conversations with themselves on forums, then paste and submit those comments in a matter of seconds. It's funny when it's multiple paragraphs from each character and the timestamps show 40 seconds between posts. Sure, that's totally enough time to read, comprehend, reply, and submit.
People are fucking awful at multitasking character roles and it's hilarious to catch.
