So we're at the "The update is late, but also larger than planned" part of the cycle. Soon followed by said update being broken up into chunks, followed by a non-communicative phase due to being in a really bad headspace, soon followed by yet another revamp of his work flow, which he's really happy with and will allow him to *insert another self-imposed target that he will inevitably miss* leading nicely into a cycle of family visits turned into not quite tragic but really disruptive situations, leading into the timeless "The update is late but also larger than planned" section of our regular scheduled tomfoolery.

There is a consistency here, just not where you'd want it to be.
