Three reasons.
1. Train wreck media that is made with sincerity is inherently funny, like the movie 'The Room'; this is the idea that some things are so bad that they are good.
2. A lot of the renders for the girls are hot.
3. I started it and want to see how it develops... and I want to keep making fun of BD in this thread.

When I saw 5 new pages in this thread, I knew something was wrong.
When I saw the date of the latest update was still 01-02-2024, I knew the 5 new pages where not about the update everyone is waiting being uploaded.
Then I read the BS explanation of BD, and I think enough is enough.
There is no point in keep on waiting, F**k BrainDrop and F**k his BS.
If the day comes when the update really happens, I will download it and see if is still worth it, or not.
There are other VN updates coming, like My Dorm for example, that meet update dates and are worth it.
VN´s by Devs that are worthy of that name.
I will focus on them and forget about WVM for now.

I just want to play the damn update already lol I am sooo tired of his BS, if there truly is a update the dude needs to just drop what he has and fix it later, shit if he doesnt like a scene then just remove it and add a black screen with text saying "Sorry due to blahblahblahblah this scene has been cut, it will be added at a future date". The VN story id mid but I truly enjoy it, I mean its a porn game so if the MC is banging a new thing every day I am fine with that but if the "story" is what is truly delaying this update then he just needs to drop it because I am guessing 60-70% of the people playing it arent here for a Quintin Tarantino lvl of story lol

Why do some people watch train wrecks or accidents? Morbid Curiosity. They know this game is as dead as it can get. It was supposed to be a 5 year Project. It got extended to 10 years. I personally haven´t played this for ages, for obvious reasons, so i can only go by what i read and by the sound of it this game is nowhere near the halfway point. There are way too many open storylines with no end in sight.
All of us who are here for the last couple of years know that BD won´t ever quit as long as his cultists pay him. So he´s going to milk the "story" as much as he can. Just add another 50 meaningless sex scene as long as the harem is growing. You´re NEVER going to see the end of it, that´s one thing i can promise you.

So to answer your question... Me, personally, i´m here to shit on BD and make fun of the game as much as possible. The actual content are his Bullshit excuses, his lies, his fake promises and his alter egos. That´s the true content here.

He will not meet the dates and will say that he will deliver it at the end of August, which he will not achieve and will only pause September instead of fulfilling his promise to pause it until 2025.

I've supported many devs and have never seen one this bad before.(ICSTOR not included) I'm surprised people are still supporting this guy on Patreon. Its an excuse everytime a deadline approaches that HE made himself. Frankly at this point I just come here to see what new excuse he comes up with.

As far as Braindrop "status updates" go, that was pretty epic, in length, compilation of years of excuses, the sheer audacity to throw it all together in one steaming pile and post it.
