For people saying "this cant go on for much longer". Let me remind you that Summertime Saga did this shit for over 2 years and the only reason they came back was because the game was finally tagged as abandoned

Ehh sure ig but in Summertime Saga case DarkCookie never ghost his subscribers and it was remaking the whole game from ground up. He does his streams pretty frequently and answer questions on there, so at least you know the game is still being actually work on. In BrainDead case, it just a simple 2 days update of the game and up to now how many teasers you actually see so far? A mere 20 pics of supposedly around 2000 renders. Ofc the mofo like to be radio silence and never have confirmation if he actually do his job or not.

Didn't DarkCookie stop sharing the progress of the remake for like 6 months before the abandoned tag? But I get your point, Im not saying BD is better or equal by any means. The DarkCookie thing was a surprise because before all this he had some kind of credibility. BD has been doing this shit from the beginning and he seems to be escalating between each update of the game

At this point a Sim Game based on farming patreon pledges while postponing releases of an hypothetical visual novel would be a far more interesting game to play. Something like BrainDead's Happy Farmland.

it happend a few times in the last few days that from time to time some user logs in and asks a question the mods not likes.

but i think the mods are getting more and more pissed about people coming and asking questions that are related to the missing update or asking about the spamming in the channel

when it happens they delete the comment and sometimes mute the user too.

So he pretty much issues an indirect threat that if people complain about the update taking too long it's going to take longer? I don't advocate beating people up, but I wouldn't be too upset if someone dragged this guy through a cactus patch.

That is without a doubt the biggest middle finger a dev can do. This is even further evidence he didn't even attempt to actually work on the game until recently when he was starting to piss off his cult and realized he was about to lose a lot of money. So now he's in chaos mode trying to catch up as best as possible so that he doesn't lose too many supporters.
