Rules are rules, if he still hasnt published anything this time next year, he'll get the tag, but I dont think that'll happen.
yeah sure all that the supporters will get is what he could make from the end of august until he releases the update because he had not really something to show around.
and that will be less that some would hope.
if he had made renders nonstop since the first time the delay from the rest of episode 13 begann he would have been at episode 15 or 16 by now...
so wait and see what will come out.
i say something between 500-800 renders nothing more.
the rest will come "soon" and in "chunks"

you know, this game started with so much promise and hype, was 1 of a kind - - however, that doesn't mean things stay that way
i wouldn't put it past him to be riding the TOS of patreon as far as he can before he cashes out, wouldn't be the first to do it either
what i mean is, he never intends to release anything ever again, *or at the most, he will NOT finish WVM - - and he will be allowed to keep that money on patreon without any need to make refunds, due to *the TOS in how he delivers his "product" - - eventually he'll have to come clean with some BS excuse:
"the blah de blah has finally caused me to leave the industry, ty to all who supported me while it lasted, i'm so sorry it has come to this, goodbye, BD"
i'm telling you, save this post for later...

Thanks so much to those who've supported me. I've decided I'm not going to continue working on WVM anymore, what started as a fun hobby with a great community has turned toxic. I can't open my computer without reading harmful vitriol, and I have to put my mental health first. I've been nothing but honest, and no one's had a tougher time than me in the last few years, and you all just piled on me in my darkest hour. So I've had it, I'm done. Wild assumption that he'd actually close his Patreon. He'll just lead everyone on for as long as he has patrons supporting him. He's not just lazy, he's lazy sitting on a 6 figure income from doing basically nothing. Not to defend BD but if I was pulling in a quarter million a year and all I had to do to maintain it was make a community post every few weeks then I'd be making my community posts from a beach on Hawaii while some topless chick feeds me grapes by hand.

Why not both? He officially claims to be quitting WVM but leaves his Patreon open and people can support him financially if they want to recover from this unfair criticism and his haters so that he might make a new VN someday when he's in a better state of mind.
I still think he should switch to a poop blog, posting pictures of his morning dumps. His followers would be all over that "No poop on me BrainDaddy"

It's been far longer than seven months. We've been trashing Braindrop non-stop for almost two years.
I commented this in December of 2022. There's never going to be discussion about the game on this thread anymore because even if Braindrop releases an update he'll just pull the same stunt with the next one and we'll be right back to shit posting.

Yeah I was lurking this thread last Oct. when he missed that deadline and I noticed that all the "fans" of characters like Bailey would be posting themed stuff all the time. That dropped off drastically when he pretty much promised he was "almost done" and then admitted through his web of bullshit that he in reality had nothing and was lying about working. It seems like a switch was flipped and it turned into exclusively what it is now: shitting all over Braindrip and WVM instead of talking about what other AVN fans discuss.
So it's been almost a year now by my accounting.

honest to god, coming from someone who ACTUALLY PERMANENTLY QUIT DESTINY after 3 straight years clocking over 6000 hours, i am NOT going to play the next update *IF* it launches, nor will i sub-back to BD, i'll wait until the *NEXT* update if anything - -
unless he drops 14/15/16 all together as some sort of sick surprise (Miro of Affect3D actual did just this after going cold-turkey for nearly 2 years, ended up dropping 2 half-hour animations at once) my personal opinion is that the next thing he drops will be complete shit, even shittier than he thought it was had he released it naturally, if he ever had anything at all
*goes to my shame box, knowing i hate this motherfucker so much only because i liked his game equally as much in the beginning*
