Anyone reminded of how the Demon Boy dev kept saying the new update was days away, only for it to never show?

not sure how long a "bit" is if "soon" is a few weeks ... but he never did post those teasers
also, still absolutely no concrete progress on the update, example :

with the daily tracker, every single night he would update a chart in the discord that was VERY specific about the work he did that day : such as amount of renders completed, animations implemented, re-works corrected, grammar fixed, etc etc

he did the daily tracker for like ... 3 days i think, then cancelled it - - LITERALLY the day after that, this whole mess happened, and he has 100% refused and ignored all requests to post a new daily tracker or even just say WHAT HE IS DOING every day of this delay

more to the point : for instance, he only needed *NINE* renders to send out this update, and he had completed *11* with reworks in 3 days time before this new mess ... and it's been A WEEK since the mess ... so does he have 30+ new renders for us? for transparency, even with his abysmal work ethic, WHAT THE FUCK ***HAS*** he been doing?

honestly, would have been better had he not put up that tracker, cause whether he was lying or not, people have actual proof and pictures of how much he works in a single day, and quantifiable justification for his absolute bullshit

I mean they make a very good point, reasonable people are fine with stuff taking a while especially when it's good, but you just need to be honest about it. Don't give deadlines you cant meet. Transparency is all it takes

isnt about deadlines anymore...we past that ,like 2 years ago....this guys say a and do z ,he tells i have 2000 renders and gives 400,and says he will cut things in 1\8,or less he promise something that never will see,from 2022 he pormised at least 4 times 2k renders and more,so is he doing those is he crapping ,or is he buying ?
by now his trajectory isnt a good one i could say is one of the worst one here at f95,he lack everything in all departments,so why apologize for his beahviours,he is a fucker and he knows it..

Ik, its kind of a shame, i really like this game and its characters. I'd consider it my #3 AVN but its updates are so inconsistent

Is there a betting pool on how long it takes for this to get deleted? Because he does this all the time.
Not to mention deleting patreon posts containing deadlines when he missed them...

so just to summarise since I haven't been that active here: BD delays his updates and makes dumb excuses like "I lost my renders sowwy" or "my software crashes all the time". people pay him for that, without getting anything in return except for empty promises. The brainwashed apes the continue to ask for updates every day and BD says give me a few hours, nothing happens. We are at Beta 4/5 now and 80% of the promised content is non-existent?
Did I get that right so far?

I'll make up some fake numbers later and a whole existential crisis that will unfortunately delay the update I've only just started working on a couple days ago. I know it's been several months but fuck you people you'll keep paying me anyway.

I hate to break up the usual conversation but I have a story question. I'm not a milf fan, and definitely not a huge boobs fan either. You'd think that would keep me away from this game but there are a few cute petites here too every once in a while. Normally in these games I try to keep the milfs at a friendly arms length (though Harper is an official exception to that rule), but I'm also a sucker for sad stories so Rebecca's quest to get pregnant made me like, "Fine, ok, you can have the magic dick once so you can get pregnant." But no, going down that path made the MC all swoony for her, there was no way to make it a casual hook-up. I always turned her down in her office at the start of the game and every time after until the back of the car when she gives you the story. Its a little jarring to go from "friend of the family" to "star crossed lovers" in the blink of an eye.

So my question is, can you actually deny her? That storyline seems pretty ingrained into the story after that point, what with the magic pregnancy tests that come from it that everyone else starts using too. I recently played a game that claimed to be a VN and seemed to allow me to avoid the milf but by halfway through the available content everything started getting forced. So I'm kinda suspecting that with this dev's obvious predilections for bulbous women and Rebecca being the flagship pregnancy that there isn't a way around it.

Yes I'm going to play through to find out but its a looooong game, if I start fresh I won't get an answer until tomorrow at best.
(and it occurs to me that the anti-milf faction is pretty small so there may not be anyone who even knows the answer.)

well Rebecca does help the MC out a lot, like finding a place to stay, a car etc, so it kinda makes sense to bind her to the plot, which leads to a "close" relationship with the MC
