If I had a nickel for every time I’ve seen Skummy and Hobocop attach themselves and run defence for a mid(being generous here) dev that had clearly lost any interest in their project; I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice.

This game is so bad that you see the same discussion every 2 3 weeks. Random person defending BD or shit on ppl who complaint on a pirate site. You could go back 10 20 pages away and find a guy who's like " why do you complain, you got to play for free lol" , missing the whole argument about the free adverstisement and stuff.
