Does the man think F95 is a rat's nest or something similar? If you are a member of the forum, you are probably trash and I'd better block you... It seems that in his mind, making real criticisms based on facts is just hate towards him.
Without fear of being wrong, I believe that at least 70% of his patreon, for whom he can afford to live without worrying about not having bread on the table, come from this forum and or come from the exposure that having his game on F95 gives him.
I hope that those who support him on patreon who are users of the forum will stop supporting him even for a couple of months so that he sees that this "rat's nest" is very important for his career as a Developer.
It's not that I don't understand his situation. I understand how mentally exhausting all the criticism is, especially because some are not criticizing his actions but directly attacking him personally, if that is wrong I will never support that shit, but he only created all that HATE that is haunting him today.
Of course these criticisms only worsen his mental state... But he doesn't seem to understand that stopping making excuses and getting down to work is the only solution to all this public rejection.
I can sign whatever you want that if BD puts his feet on the ground and gets to work seriously; delivers honest reports and regular updates, they don't need to be every month, 2 or 3 months is still acceptable, at most in 1 year all this rejection against him will disappear... Well not completely but almost no one will say anything bad to him.
It seems that I am being optimistic in that scenario but we quickly forget the bad things especially when those bad things are covered with good things so I am sure that it is a realistic scenario. Any different opinions I am reading you.
Funny thing is, I saw this thread had multiple new pages and thought, "Wow, did he actually release an update?"
Silly me. Of course he didn't.

y'all realize its "delayed" because the EP14 promised land is a myth and is ethereal beyond the handful of return home teasers he's put out, even worse since its scene by scene release, it implies he doesn't even have the first scene done

It's 17th of December so technically he can still release it untlill midnight, i know it's unlikely to happen but he can ...In my books he has 2 moths from today if he releases the update which was supposed to be ready several months ago then that's good for him if not i am deleting WVM forever and never bother my self with it again.....Guys we kinda figured out that NutDrop wasn't going to release anything today especially after his Steelers lost yesterday.

Comments Like those from BD make my blood boil. WHO do you think Supported your Game in the beginning?? It was the exact same Community Ur now demonizing. If i was an Admin of F95 comments like that would just make me yeet his game from here. He definitely doesn‘t deserve any form of exposure

I've never laughed so hard in my life... If 10,000 dollars a month doesn't produce motivation and desire there is something wrong with his brain... Oh, wait... We kinda already knew that didn't we...
I mean, he currently has to produce next to nothing visible in a year (we got msot of ep13, with missing chunks, sprinkled around, when they were due last year) and with these sparse updates he gets that much money... Why work harder?
It is a scumbag move. I also believe that he is/was in the wrong mindset about some things, but if he can get away with a fraction of the minimum work expected, why bother with more?
