This VN jumped the shark several times and if the dev and his people are as fucked up as everyone is stating then you need to give them one final middle finger and move on instead of drawing more eyes to this bs.

You're misunderstanding. I'd be happy if this game crashes and burns... more than it already is, but we're not here to attack BD's livelihood. We're here to point and laugh. More people being brought to this dumpster fire just means more people to laugh at it with.
Besides, I really don't think it being bumped in the forum even remotely matters given how I'm pretty sure most F95 users only navigate through the latest updates page and their notifications. Browsing the forum to actually find games instead of just using the latest updates page is just pure hell outside of recommendation threads, and just speaking for myself I legit can't remember the last time I specifically looked through the threads in a sub forum for anything here.

Well since your new here there is a main reason why this forum is like its since people can have their freedom of speech here. Most here are ex supporters but not down to cancelling their subscription but being banned by BD and his followers for asking questions or having an opinion.

It's got to the point now where we don't expect an update but what excuse he will come up with next since it dragged on forever. Most here want it to fail since so that it will stop milking his supporters and watch Morbil's downfall

Comments Like those from BD make my blood boil. WHO do you think Supported your Game in the beginning?? It was the exact same Community Ur now demonizing. If i was an Admin of F95 comments like that would just make me yeet his game from here. He definitely doesn‘t deserve any form of exposure

It's completely understandable to get your blood boil reading this kind of comments from BD ,it shows how much he appreciates his supporters ,because funding is one type of support but there are others as well ...

there are vns that have been abandoned for 3+ years with completely dead threads and their patreons still have paid members. the only way this can truly die is if braindrop himself would delete his patreon and we all know that would never happen.

since i don't financially support VNs i don't really tend to complain about how long it takes for updates to come out. sure this feed with all the posts about BDs excuses etc are laughable at this point. but i don't really care at all. lots of other games to play while waiting for this next update, which i will play when it comes out. enjoy it for what it is and move on to the next game..

I'm not gonna say that someone should report his Patreon. What I will say is that Corrupted Kingdom got banned off of Patreon for having non sexualized children characters in it, and that WVM does have a child character in it, that teacher's kid. If someone was feeling really spiteful they could hypothetically inform Patreon of this potential breach of standards.
Honestly I just don't care enough either way. I'm here for the train wreck, if someone wants to do that though then I'll happily make some popcorn and watch.

Well, I think I will remove myself from this thread.

It's not one of my favorite games and is not on my current play list. But from what I have seen from the dev based on the F95 latest updates page, is that he has been rolling out updates like a mad man in the past. More than most other devs. In fact, I recall that players in a few other game threads were holding BD as a model developer that everyone should strive to be like. He was rolling out updates every couple of weeks with a ton of content.

Like any other person, that pace was not sustainable, and like a lot of people pleasers he is promising to what he thinks he can do and not delivering. It's hardly worth hating on a dev, especially if you get the game for free. I see that the last update was in November, so a little more than a month ago. Not really crazy IMO.

I still don't get the mindset, of wanting a game to fail...because you dislike the game/dev?? What about the fans of the game? So you chose your own perverted happiness of a dev failing, over the happiness of multiple fans. It seems extremely selfish to me.

I love the f95 site, but that is one of the site's typical user traits that I do not really car for. (Along with a few other fan related attitudes, but I will leave that one out of it). It's not unique to this game thread. I have seen it in more threads that I can count.

Blegh... I said enough, I don't even care for the game and I don't know the dev at all.

that happend to many others as well because the guy can not handle negative criticism.

the last update he posted in november what is not even a complete one was an update he told everybody was ready in october 2022.
then in february 2023 he said the last of episode 13 AND episode 14 is almost ready to get out,and from then on delays,excuses,promises to do better,ass long dev reports where he talks a lot and contradicts himself over and over.

and that cycle repeats itself everytime he announces a release date.

this was a very very very short version of Braindrops career as a developer so don´t mind me if i forgot a ton of stuff what he made us laugh over the many years and month...
