BrainDead definitely, genuinely, said it would be out for Jan 5, so the couple non-cultists wouldn't cancel their pledges, just so he can charge them again and hope they forget/don't see the post offering refunds.

No, Episode 13 was reported completely finished and 14 near finished last year in Feb but due to "RL issues and neeidng help blah blah it was pushed again and again till October or there abouts when he said "if its not out im pausing patreon until next year i swear!" 2 days after failed release date patreon was resumed and he stated on discord "dont like it remove support and leave"

My current theory for this whole situation is that the original BD died and a family member or someone inherited all his accounts. Since they don't know anything about making a game they have been just releasing what little bit of work was already done, super slowly over time and pretending like the rest is on the way soon. Until finally everyone stops giving them money for it and the jig is up.
