Honestly even if he did start updating regularly again I don't think it'd help much. The game is basically collapsing under itself. There are far too many girls with far too many sub-plots at this point. It just isn't sustainable. Not to mention the game is confusing as shit for new players, because the remaster that's totally happening btw isn't out yet.

Pisses me off too, because he had a great initial cast of characters that people loved and was somewhat reasonable in size. Now half of them haven't gotten content in ages (talking update amount not dev time lmao) and it's just filled with random side bitches that blur together or are shittier versions of existing characters.

Yeah, the way he's made pretty much every girl ridiculously devoted and submissive to the MC like they are all part of some cult has made it very hard for any of them to really stand out beyond their appearance. Even the few who started out not worshipping the ground the MC walks on are quickly brainwashed into joining the cult and start behaving like everyone else, losing most of what made them different in the first place.

It's also kind of crazy that some of the characters that were introduced very early on like Stacy, Kimmy and to a lesser extent Jasmine (and only because of recent updates finally acknowledging her existence), who are supposed to be some of the main love interests in the game, have barely being part of the story after all this time.
