I won't say that you don't have reasons to be so upset with BD, but if the intention is to scare the developer to see if he reacts and does his job, a better option would be.
You should send him a Cease & Desist Letter
If you want something more serious without spending a lot of money, you can send him a formal warning letter (Cease & Desist) telling him that if he continues to deceive people, he could face legal consequences.
I would include things like the following:
You should make it clear to him how he has been deceiving patrons (It may seem unnecessary but who knows the man may not even realize what he is doing)
Let him know that Patreon will hold him accountable in case of a lawsuit, and other users are aware of his behavior and willing to participate in a class action lawsuit against him.
Demand that if he doesn't deliver what he promised, legal action will be taken.

There is also the BBB( Better Business Bureau ) route. shit even Patreon has a page explaining how to get the BBB involved if a Creator ( Business ) has failed to keep there promises or there donor or sub benefits. I skimmed it once but didnt read into detail

At the end of the day the only way things will change with BD is if people wise up and unsub until BD can prove they've firmly removed their head outta their own ass. Still sitting on almost 3000 people subbed doesn't exactly give them the "get your shit together or pack it up" scare BD clearly needs.
If them unpausing pledges (with nothing to show for it) doesn't scream to unsub I dont know what does.

Honestly I think this thread should just be locked for a while. There are a lot of people here that are just insane.
no need to go to that lengths ,the only shit patreon cares is incest ans some other shit,....if someone can do a couple of renders put in the game folder and distributed i can see patreon doing some big dmg to his account,....other than that unless ppl beggin to unsibscribe i dont see any downfall at all.....

Hey guys, sorry for not being able to upload anything yet.
I'm dealing with some IRL stuff, the broken animations are still rendering while I handle everything. E13 will be uploaded as soon as it can be with the latest being the end of this week. The update will be 500+ renders and 11 animations long and will cover the rest of the Daliah scene, the Jasmine scene, and the flight home to WVM.
If I have time to be around to address any potential issues that may occur, I will post the partial 280 render update earlier with the rest coming later in the week.
Pledges have been re-paused, I would not have unpaused if I knew things would go like this. I have been pausing as much as I can while I figure everything out and work to get back on track.
I want to remind everyone that I am offering refunds to anyone charged in December, January, and February (as well as annual pledges). All you have to do is send me a quick DM here on patreon and I'll have it sent to you straight away, many have already done so.
I've said for a while that there is no need to pledge right now, all content released in the immediate future will be available to former patrons via the discord (or patreon DM's for the few who don't have access to discord), this includes the rest of E13, E14, and a few updates after. As well as side content things when they are released like the character sheets and ditlos.
Pledges right now are simply to show support, and I still pause as much as I can because I feel I am not worthy of that support right now.
I'll let you guys know when things are uploaded and I apologize for the continued mess.
