The reason (most) people still pay this clown is simple:
They think about donating to him like charity, they're helping a struggling artist in their mind. This whole "woe is me"- BS he's feeding them gives them the exact same feeling like if you listen to and then donate to a homeless person. And don't forget they can also defend him from all the evil people trying to be mean to poor little ol brainfart which gives them the biggest altruistic boner you can imagine.
Calling them disillusioned is an understatement at this point.

What's hilarious about this is Junglepar8 is trying to call out the critics for "the same tired shit every time" complaining about missed deadline, but won't call out BD for the "the same tired shit every time" of repeating the looping of giving a deadline, missing deadline, making up the 200th version of "my dog ate my homework". struggling *laughs* I remember at one point people going over about how much he makes brought up charts and patron crap and worked out the average cost if his 3200 something donators at the time even paid only 5$ a month... level 2 of support and lets be honest the bulk of his supporters on discord etc are the 10-20$ ranges I know I was back then still even at only 5$ that comes up to 16,000$ a month minus Patron's cut and at PRIMIUM the highest of 12% that's 1920$ 14,080... that's if they were all bare bones supporters.. they are not he has a lot that are the MVP at 43$ and quite a few Hall of Fame at 100. HE had the gall to say I don't make much barely 8k a month... really 8k.. most people survive on 3k or less a month and hes complaining. EVEN IF ITS ALL 5$ DONATIONS ITS STILL 15k a month. Lets be realistic though. Right now he has 2950 supporters.. well just do the 20$ not the lowest or highest tiers the mid range. 2950 x 20 = 51,800 12% of 51800 = 6216 so 51,800 - 6216 = 45,584. Lets be reasonable since all are NOT going to be 20$ subs.. regardless if its 5-20$ his income ranges from 20k to 45k a month... and he cant do 1 simple 100 render upload ever 2 weeks while people who don't make that kind of money like moonbox pump 200+ renders on not one but 2 games every 2 to 3 weeks? ACTIONS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES

If you actually read my comments you would see that I actually never did that and actually said that he deserves the criticism. What I said was that it seems like lot people here don't even care about the game and aren't upset because they aren't getting updates, they are here just because shitting on BD is fun for them.
