How do you "rework" the first part without breaking everyone's saves? Aren't we so far past reasonable story or cohesiveness that we just need to get back to harem central and improving our GBPD (girls banged per day)?

I've been looking at the code behind a few games to learn ren'py. I don't see how you could do anything worth bothering with as far as rework that doesn't break all saves. Just shipping these chunked parts of episode 13 like BD has is responsible for breaking saves if you don't save exactly where he says too. And comically, some of those "save here" messages have been left in even after they aren't needed, I suspect to prevent updates from breaking other saves.

Dude... honestly? considering how long it took him, how many deadlines he missed, to deliver this ending of E13 (which he hasn't even finished yet, because he had the nerve to split it into two parts), believing that this rework of the beginning of the game will really happen, is utopia, is naive,... I don't even know how to define it...

Going through the full conversation with Daliah in this latest update the timeline feels even weirder.

MC seems to have lived in a near barren room for near 2 years without much of a memory of it ( don't recall him mentioning having knowledge of that big of a memory gap).

It is yet to be revealed that he spent those two years in a Tibet fortress
meditating and studying with the basketball legends that live there.

Lmao I didn't played B5 because it was missing half a scene, then 6 months later he only manages to finish that scene but leave the next one missing 80% of it... that's another skip for me... guess knowing how BD works I won't be downloading this anymore since this is now the norm and half scene updates is a joke, by the time the next update drop I won't remember wtf we were even talking about in that scene so you either replay that one or just wait for an update to have the whole fucking scene... hence me skipping again.

Holy fuck this was an actual micro-update. Lmao I didn't even have enough time to blink. BD has some of the highest quality renders out there with great looking models, but he has to hire someone to either keep him working or lighten the already lightweight load for him. Fair enough, I've never even given it a chance to create a game like this, but there's no way he isn't just sabotaging himself at this point.

BD has some of the highest quality renders out there with great looking models, but he has to hire someone to either keep him working or lighten the already lightweight load for him. i liked the earlier renders a lot more. not because they were higher quality but because he didn't use the filter that makes all the renders glow red, all of them have the red/orange tint. if he stopped doing that it would look a lot better.

Honestly I could see why this shit would have taken him forever. It's just exposition after exposition with nothing in between and that can feel like a huge drag if you have nothing to break it up. You can tell he's talking to himself this whole update with all the "Hurry it up we gotta get this shit done." That being said, if he doesn't get back on a schedule after this it'll never happen. He has 10000 threads to follow that would be easy to just do one at a time and it would make sense from a storytelling point.

First: E13 is supposed to be the finish of the date, and return home (I'm not 100% on the return home bit, but I am pretty sure on it)
second: I haven't seen anything about B7 being released, just the typical Soon type statements...... which historically has meant several weeks, up to months.

And it is fairly small (especially considering the time sink he put into it), I am pretty sure under 400. Very dialog heavy, lots of "story".... or more accurately, back "story".

Some solid points here, He seemed to have a rough idea of what he was trying to do, but just kept digging deeper than he really should have. Game like this, the story doesn't need to be deep, it just needs to be entertaining... and he kinda lost it in that scene.

With any luck, he can start to ease up a bit on the attempted deep monologs, and just piece together a decent story.

First : he only completed the "missing" what was orginally the 100 renders missing scene with deliah and is now a 267 Renders scene and startet the Jasmine date content with 91 Renders.

Second: no he only postet the link to the new game update in the "links-to-latest-update" channel in discord and still has not even said a word since the "enough words" statement a few days ago.
