Discord riots might start again if the update is not out till weekend.
I'm going to to out on a limb, and throw a wild theory out there for the next release...
I think he is going to black screen with a little blurb on how the end of 13 has been a nightmare, so he's going to jump into 14 to get the content flowing, and he'll finish off 13 at a later date... it'll drop with the first bit of 14 (400ish renders and lets say.... 3 animations), with a promise to have more out in a few weeks.
None of this happens until May though, cause I don't think we will see anything in April, he will continue to be plagued with "technical issues", and as soon as that wears too thin, it'll be lack of funds to have internet, or his power got shut off for a week, so he had to unpause patreon again.

And all these small chunks will have tech issues that will magically be solved right at the end of every month (but sometimes it will be life stuff getting in the way, we can't make it TOO obvious mind you) so he can justify unpausing pledges.
This is probably what the next 6 months will look like.
all he needs to do is summarize the conversation with whatsherface.i can't remember her name since it has been years since the last update..seems like years anyway and get on with the story. but whatever, i will play it when it comes out but i really don't give a shit if he ever releases anything more since he is such a pathetic dev.

Kinda wild to be honest. Going from having the update ready to go and it'll be uploaded over night. To having tech issues with packaging that's causing BSoD (first time I've heard that being a thing). Gonna wind up with the date being half done and the second half coming at a later time along with the flight home. Only for THAT to get cut in 2 as well.
Wouldn't surprise me if BD drops a dev update on the 31st about unpausing because he needs the money (again) but then later says "you guys are right, I shouldn't have done that. I'll refund anyone who requests it" knowing full well his cultists wont.

Big fat disclaimer im not trying to give BD and credit or protection from the outrage he deserves but...
Nvidia (assuming that's brand of GPU he's using) has released back to back bad driver updates that have been reported to BSOD for the 4 and 5 series. So sure i can see a world where he had legitimate tech issues.
Or rather i could if it wasn't so damn constant an excuse. It's just too convienent that it happens every time. I also don't for a second believe anything about packaging issues. The only packaging issue was that he didn't actually do the work he claimed and was about to be caught in yet another lie. I'm just shocked that he thought people were A)Still gullible enough to believe him and B) Was arrogant enough to think he could garner sympathy from another lie.

Well, it took longer than I expected, but so does BD. Chapter 11 done, Throuple (probably) and a fingertip (will hopefully be found) gone, and I got to wait for a year for The Revenge of the Nerds to commence. DIK Sage run next.

Interesting. I had heard about the last 2 drivers causing black screens randomly. forcing a hard reboot or sometimes a boot in to safe mode to rollback. nothing about BSoD though.

2025 and the longest date ever is still going.
It never fails to make me laugh when I think about it. It was such a ridiculous thing for him to promise with his track record the last few years, and then the fact that he didn't even make it to one month of weekly updates when it was supposed to be an entire year...

and no word from him except from one comment for almost 14 days now.....
and every now and then Katie makes a "unwanted" comment that fires a little discussion that is silenced fast by the Dictator Morbil.
