Way back when it first launched there was big talk of this 5 year plan he had for the game which, as is obvious by the state of things today, went to shit when the updates went from regular to whenever.

You're comment made me think a little bit, so I went and did just a wee bit of research. I'd like to compare WVM's release of Episode 13 to the release of another really popular college-themed AVN that recently dropped it's latest Episode. (Not trying to be coy or a dick about this, just don't want this comment removed for off-topic)

WVM Episode 13:
Renders - 2668 (could be slightly more or less. This number is based on his 200 render estimate for the next update)
Dev Time - If E13F is released by end of month, 18 months

Other VN Episode:
Renders - 7113
Dev Time - 15 months

Bro will have taken a year and a half to release one sub 3000 render episode. If he continues at this pace, the game will be abandoned long before any of us die.

Don't forget the other VN had 392 animations,42 songs,multiple branching paths,mini games and the free roams. But if you really want to laugh compare this to Nephilim at least he does deliver every month

Beside all the bullshit that is normal from him, this "update" was good, the final dating scene was really good but damn, 2 months to do something that was "already" finished and just need re-do some parts is too much even for his standards, that's a new level...

The truth is that Dev started with updates in days, but changed to weeks, but in reality this made little, if any, difference because of the size of the storylines. Maybe if he focused more on running the story than on the number of updates he would be much better. I remember it took forever just to play the first game, for example.

If he didn't feel like he could work enough to keep interest going he should have sold it to someone with ambition.
