The most craziest excuse would be BD staying quite and stealthy abandoned his discord but kept his patreon open to still get money..Looks like the day will end without the usual BD excuses.
We already we wont get an update, but at least he should make his excuses.

Been following the game since he was still doung bi weekly updates. So i am very aware of his pattern, but its never been this bad. Plus he actuaully let morbil kill discord

If I'm being real, i think this was abandoned or taken over from the dev either giving up/going under/whatever, but they have just been slow rolling and milking what they were left in his exit and its been beneficial for a long ass time to just slow roll it out. Tinkering/mental stuff/all the other bs has just been ways to keep people paying and the gravy train rolling. This is like that one person that always calls out of work and has some thorough and lengthy excuse as to what happened, but they just don't wanna work or lose the job. As long as people keep paying, whatever is behind the wheel of this game is going to take advantage of it. Nothing of substance new is ever shown or no new progress is shared to help re-establish faith. BDstor is just milking. If you want to fix something, you work at it. If you wanna coast, you do bare minimum and create an echo chamber of vibes buttsuckers who will let you.
you don't know whom they are. this could be a side project. they could have a 9-5 job, a significant other, have kids, they could be spending hours on this project but can't think of anything because of writers block. not everybody have millions hours of free time on their hands to do anything they want. don't assume you know what's happening with a person you've never met before just because you're upset about a vn/game you got FOR FREE on a public site isn't the way you wanted. how about you try to do what they're doing and see how easy it is when you got thousands of strangers trying to tell you how and when to do your project.
