And just because I have the time to kill (which is probably more sad than I'd like to admit even to myself) I went on another site and saw the following images....I don't remember ANY of them. And this was posted 2024-10-16 . Am I going insane, or did these "teasers" never actually get posted?
(And I get the feeling, if he's not watching NFL, there's currently three MLB games going on, so he might be watching any of those games (I got them playing in the background myself)

He hasn't finished day 37 and "(...) got stuck on 2 animations.", and he's thinking of releasing remakes of everything...?
I can't even feel lobotomized, I'm so flabbergasted.

At the very least, he was upfront with it. Having said that, there's no way he wrote "I scrapped 20 renders", took a step back and went "Yep... I'm sure this is level-headed enough."
Not one. Not two. 20. 20 renders he worked on, inspected for mistakes hopefully and processed. "Oh, well. Ctrl + E, Delete! It's a problem for future me!"
Well I meant it more as a joke, but I can see how that it didn't' land the way I intended.
Regardless, I think I should have phrased it as I shouldn't have THAT much free time. lol.
All good on my end , and hope all is good on your end. Let's rejoice in dunking on the fool we all here know, Mr. BrainDrop.

Everything BD says needs to be taken not with a grain of salt, but at least an ocean worth of salt. He's well known for saying one thing and doing the other. I wouldn't be too surprised if he only said this to make his worshippers "happy" because it's still better than saying you created (almost) nothing.

I don't know how far you're currently in the game, but they did all of that in the last couple of versions
Imo it was very much a letdown, except for the date with Jasmine and the talk we have with Daliah. When it comes to Daliah though, you need to be really awake and pay close attention to what she says to understand all of it, because her storytelling is a bit of a jumbled mess imo

Yeah true, but if I remember correctly (has been probably about a year or so since I played the trip to the spa if not longer) they did talk about it. And i was just going by the order it was mentioned, because I believe the photoshoot was originally meant to be taken during the trip.

I don't think he started scamming intentionally, but suffered from mental health + no artistic direction + lack of confidence and he started rewriting, remaking and wasting time instead of dealing with the issue.
At this point most grown adults get feedback from the real world in the form of 'you're fired', but on Patreon all he got was some mean comments, a lot of bootlickers, and a constant stream of income that is VERY VERY VERY loosely tied to how productive he is.
So instead of handling things like a proper adult, for example - realizing you can't just keep wasting time on recreating scenes and posting fluff and sometimes you just gotta release something and move on, he learned he can just produce nothing while he keeps chasing the perfect scene or writing himself out of the mess he wrote himself into. I also think he hates WVM at this point but gotta keep 'w
rking' on it to support himself.It's like a nightmarish, upside-down version of Silksong. plenty of money and no actual deadlines, but while team cherry are really good at their job and are about to release the probable GOTY, BD is BD and is left with nothing to show for all the years, forced to keep begging for money.

I did "finish" it yeah [full harem, Shauna is trans]. I saw that happening for some time, but that last one is the that stung. Like, why won't you let me be surprised to see Daliah and how deeper is Ethan's lore is getting? The spa was obscenely long, which is the norm for every big-deal event in the story, Eden and Hannah is just annoying, unbearable filler, Zoelle was pretty cool... Nothing else comes to mind because it just. Never. Ends...

That's the thing: in a time in which mental health is taken very seriously, I'm 100% sure that his patrons (for one) would have completely understood and send him encouraging messages and so on. I don't know if he felt like people would've thought "Oh, he just played the 'mental health' card instead of telling us he's taking a two-week break with all of the sexy money he's getting" and it doesn't even matter anyway if it happened or not because it's not our business...
I, too, don't believe he's scamming intentionally but, from the looks of things, he didn't deal with it and has been unfulfilling his promises for a long time.
