Okay, so who here had gallbladder on his bingo card of Brainfart's bullshit ass excuses for 2025?

Hilarious to see his cultists would believe anything from this pathological liar, after literally years of the same old tales of woe from him and they still don't catch on, astonishing... and should probably be some sort of case study on cult behaviour. I'm pretty sure som researcher would find it utterly fascinating, not to mention dictators or scammers would be interested to learn how to completely brainwash people to question nothing you say and happily give you their money in the process.

Maybe he should write a book and sell it to teach people these jedi mind tricks, he even puts state controlled propaganda to shame with his techniques of total obedience and lack of questioning from his subjects.

He has tried this ONCE in the past. In fact, he even said he'd keep the payments paused until he made content he felt was worth paying for. But, as usual, he almost immediately unpaused payments because he needed "to pay his bills" and then called pausing payments until further notice stupid. So, no, I don't think he'll ATTEMPT this ever again.

Nope. The maximum he ever did was 3 months i belive. And just to quote one of his many lies from one of his previous dev posts:


"Well in that post I mentioned unpausing pledges at midnight and just to be transparent that is because around half of my income for the month is from the overnight charges at the very beginning of the month. (So the actual reason why most of the time he pauses pledges AFTER that timeframe)

When midnight came I felt bad for needing to unpause as I had been relying on that first day for a few months. I've been pausing as much as I can but the main time that has been unpaused has been the beginning of the month and that isn't fair at all even if it is just to support.
So ultimately, I decided to wait until after those were processed to unpause.

And the reason why that is relevant is simply because I've had to spend chunks of the last few days selling some of my stuff to keep my head afloat. "


And that´s coming from a guy who´s still getting 10k ish a month for doing the bare minimum and even less.

So, having caught up to the most recent update which.. probably was like a year ago, man I can't understate how much I hate Daliah and that type of character.
Like I understand that devs, for some god forsaken reason, feel the need to attempt some sort of mystery deal with clandestine characters but it ALWAYS ends up feeling like an insult to average human intelligence and just an insult to the reader with how the MC usually takes these things.
"You'll get to know what you need to know", "we've been spying on you for years", "we need to let him live his life some more before he understands", "our original plan was to use the other girl to introduce him to us later on in life and show him what his life could be" etc etc, the entire thing looking like a fucking psychotic cult with the main individual coming off like a completely neurotic, controlling pile of shit, the MC is just sitting there like a fucking dope and accepting things to eat or drink from these people.
Fuck that. I'd, AT BEST, meet these people in broad daylight at neutral ground within range of law enforcement. Out of all the games I've played, this is probably the worst implementation I've ever seen of a character trope like this. It's just shit.

Like at this point I don't care about Daliah's intentions, I don't care about her ideas or her as a character. As the initial introduction with Willabelle and Quandale Dimmadome or whatever that cult servant was called went, "why is there so much friction on a simple request?", EVERY interaction with these individuals have so much goddamn friction and annoyance behind it.
It's idiotically hamfisted and a storyline that straight up doesn't have any reason to exist in such a B-roll sports game harem power fantasy.

It's embarrassingly and annoyingly slow-paced, and it's convoluted and confusing as fuck. And the sole reason it's that way is an excuse for his cultists to say "Hey, he makes a shit ton of content so I'm ready and willing to be skimmed off my money!" Like, the whole entering sequence alone, from MC standing in front of room 43 to Daliah saying "Who is that? We told all of the staff to leave us alone didn't we?", took 454 lines of dialogue. Four hundred and fifty-four lines of dialogue...

Any mother wants to shield their kid no matter what, even if it's not a good idea, and Rachael was closely tied to MC's family and couldn't exactly say shit before his mom had done so. I also very much doubt that Wendy knew the extent of shady shit MC's dad did or the enemies he made, his dad was a piece of shit but he seemed like the type of person to make sure that no one knew about it.

That quickly goes out the window with Daliah though.
She literally has no ties to the MC outside of just.. being told he exists and that she was around when he was a kid, she has some fucked up cult shit going on with probably thousands of women that also spy on him, and according to Willabelle, do a LOT of shady shit.
She has no reason to withhold information from him outside of using it to force his hand. In fact, any information she had could've been a fucking email, any information withheld is also a direct threat to him given that he lacks knowledge of what to look out for since apparently his dad made enemies.

Moreover, I am definitely betting hard money on Daliah knowing a lot more about the shady shit that went on with MC's dad compared to Wendy or Rachael, that's the sticking point, they might know the sad parts about MC's backstory but I don't think they know the information that he needs right now, but Daliah does and she's willfully withholding that shit.


Also pretty positive she's doing more shit behind the scenes than she's letting on. Real fucking coincidence that the Spiritual Weirdo Lesbo Billionaires are real close to Daliah and have the same tattoo even.
There's just no excuse to Daliah to do what she does, there's also no excuse for a character like her to even exist within the story. We already know that MC has plot armor, he's already proven that he can handle basically anything thrown at him, yet we're being force-fed this garbage storyline and weird ass "oh but we can't tell him the truth, he's just a widdle itty bitty baby boy, he needs sheltering" type deal going on.

And all of that is coming from someone who knew MC since he was a child, to the point that she was in the accident sitting right next to him.

Azel specifically likely never found a good time to talk about it or didn't feel comfortable enough to do so, Wendy has barely gotten back into MC's life whilst he was in the middle of his own issues so I can understand the how and why these conversations haven't happened.

Especially since, as you said, he's not an infant but a grown man, yet Daliah has explicitely decided to treat him like that by withholding information and given that she's talking about how her and Iris wants different things for the MC, clearly trying to sway him in the meantime.
None of them are treating the MC like an adult, though Daliah having a literal spy information network, being involved with shady shit and holding information that could potentially give him an easier time making important decisions about his wellbeing and the wellbeing of others around him in the future, she's by far the worst offender.

You have one character sitting on literally all the information and an insane amount of power given that she can apparently just make billionaire meetups happen (still not buying that she had nothing to do with that) aswell as keeping MC's apparent enemies in check, and that character is specifically holding shit from the MC on her whims, information that he -as you said- deserves to know, while she wants a specific future for the MC without asking him shit about it or giving him enough information to let him make a decision.

This other dev has been off the radar since May then released that yesterday . Fair play to him the reasons why he went dark were shocking but still worked on the game even before he took time off.

That discusion between Azel and the MC is not about her being comfortable ...Her son suffers and she has the key to end that suffering, it's her obligation and duty as his mom...And even in that case she could ask Rachel to be there too, Rachel knew even more things than Azel as we saw...Wendy barely got back to his life ,that is true but still she was there as much as she could even when he was a kid,went to his games, watch him sleep, sing him lulubies ..Wendy was as present to his life as she could, but the responsibility falls to Azel mostly because she was his guardian...Then comes the famous bowling alley incident...Rachel told mc to meet willabelle because she could help with the problems that appeared with Ryker , but Willabelle failed to keep an eye on her own employees, and Dalliah failed to keep , Ryker on a leash...Oh wait... It was Dalliah that told Ryker out of the blue that " Hey, Ryker ,you know who the mc is??He is the son of the guy that caused the car crash accident that killed your mom ,Kenji's dad and some other people as well"and she did that out of the blue without "thinking that Ryker would go berserk....You are right , Dalliah is not innocent, In fact i have a suspicion that the whole party on the Yaught was set up not just as fund raising /sex orgy but to have the mc giving information which Dalliah somehow heard about from bug microphones or something like that so that she knew how to play it on their meeting...Also Dalliah does not keep anyone in check, Ryker could easily create a massacre when he found out who the mc really is...My point is that the MC is an Adult (at least he would be in my country) he can understand things better now that he matured,shit he is old enough to have kids? but not old enough to hear all the details and make a decision??

We're arguing the same point, we both agree that he absolutely should have been told by now.
The only thing I'm arguing is that Daliah has been a much worse offender in that regard than the others given that she has first hand information that the others do not. Rachael might've been told about what happened with the MC and his dad, but Daliah and Iris were there first hand and have access to more information than she likely told Rachael. She's also pretty responsible for the MC potentially facing problems at this point, given that MC had the club cornered but Daliah decided to help the club instead.
Shit's just a mess and Daliah is more of a reason than either Azel, Rachel or Wendy at this point.
