Well , BD wants to keep getting paid but him delivering new updates ???Well he might continue his so far strategy, make promises for big updates and break the updates in parts ... release 1 or 2 per year I guess,Hell he manages to loose patreons and get them back super quick...With some scene previews and promises for the "next update" which will come soon
