I remember when this first came out, you could almost set your watch to BD updates. I know it's crazy but true. I moved and new job etc so didn't play for or think about gaming for a few years. I was so happy when I found this game again.... Only to get maybe 45min worth of play.
I understand things happen, and near the end of my time playing the updates started slowing and reasons why started increasing. Maybe someday my bloodline will see the end to this once Great and Mighty could have been

I would not bet my life or the life of my offspring or my grandchildrens' lifes on it.
Or anyone's life for that matter.

That's one human way to describe his lifestyle, (and if this is the case all fine but stop doing it and move on in life , just stop dragging other people into it by making endless promises), but I personal lost my hope at the point where those excuses started repeating over and over again. Instead of finding a solution, he just doesn’t care about anything but money.
My take on this is as simple as his endless excuses: "he will throw something at us that creates a lot of new promises he can never fulfill, and the last hardcore stans will stay and keep paying in any way possible just to keep their illusion alive."

Just grab your popcorn and enjoy the show, guys.

Remaking ideas? The game is good but not that special to be wasting time on delayed updates.
Like I said he should just release what he has good or bad and let us be the judge.
There are a lot of good games out there with updates being release twice a month.
Others not so good with that God awful script, but we still enjoy it.
We enjoy the artwork that is.
Still, we don't have to wait months or years for an update for any other game to be released, do you?

He has nothing, it's been this way for years, 12 was released 2-300 renders at a time all while 13 was mostly done, then 13 was was released 2-300 render chunks because the jasmine date was all AAAHHHHHHHs and OMGs but its okay because 14 is totally done guys for real this time

If you think the mythical 1600 renders are real, ive got a bridge to sell you. It took him i dont even know how long like what 3 months just to make the 30 or so character cards that are mostly the same with differing levels of undress.

In short: imo the game won't see the end. It's most likely dead. The dev only keeps it alive with tiny updates from time to time and making promises (he don't keep) for the big money he still gets

It is what I would call "Effectively Abandoned". It's pretty clear the dev has lost all will/desire/motivation to actually work on developing the game, but also has become dependent on it as an income source. So he tosses out the occasional '5 min' update of a few renders every year or so and teases that there is 'so much more' being worked on. But in reality, this content will never see release. Remember, it has now taken over 3 real life years for us to get through a 2 day in-game weekend trip.
