I will agree that the Penelope scene in the recent update was annoying for people that don't like her and confusing for people who do. It added literally nothing of value - I have no idea what he was thinking.
As for the rest of the update, it focused on characters I don't care about, so I ended up skipping through it pretty fast. That's a bad sign to me - I judge how much I like a game by how fast I spacebar through it. If I start tapping really fast, there's a good chance I'm going to stop playing the game entirely if something doesn't change/improve quick.

Maybe I did something wrong in it - I like Penelope and having the main character literally run away and basically claim he was assaulted is perfectly the opposite of how I want scenes to play out with her or any character. If there's some not that resolution that is possible, then I missed it.
I too would have liked to continue in the other direction, but it's not avoidable. It's part of the story. MC is suffering a mild case of PTSD, probably from the much more physical altercations of chapter 1, possibly from retcon info we don't have yet. If the story continues, I expect Penelope to make amends and MC to get back with her in very short order.

I guess there's a few other characters we won't see in the mix either.Incest, and I'm sorry to be the one to inform you (meaning, don't kill the messenger), in Patreon and Payment processors (the real force behind this) terms is defined more as a Power relationship than by blood relations. This means that people in a relationship where one as power over the other or that they share blood if they cohabit, seems to be considered Incest. It is NOT the most accurate definition, but, it is the one they setup and the one that Patreon enforces.

If you're on the Penelope path, she tries to set you up with a semi-public orgy in the college parking garage. MC has a minor panic attack, and ends up talking to the therapist about it. If you're not on her path, you wouldn't have seen it.

No, it definitely appears on both options, I've seen it from the other side.
It's quite fun watching all these people say stuff like "I didn't like it when Penelope went crazy and set the MC up for a public orgy" when she only does it if you encourage her crazy side, all you have to do is tell her to take it down a notch during the scene at the party (iirc) and it doesn't happen.I've been here scratching my head on what scene you guys are talking about... So, you are talking about the scene in the garage? After the swimmer girl gets a cramp and you "help" her? Freak out? Not my MC, he's completely OK with everything that happened there (both versions)... Run away? What? Poor girl already has image issues, has been bullied and discriminated for so long (both versions), why would MY MC do that to someone, it absolutely goes against all that he is. Is that even a possibility? If it is, WTF?
There's something wrong here, either with me and my impression of the MC, or with the game, if it even allows you to Run Away in such a scene...

I'm on all the girls paths, and I have no memory of anything like that at all. The only time I remember having any sex in the college garage is when you have sex with the other trans girl in, on, and beside her car.
We have sex with a few different girls in our own garages, but nothing I'd call an orgy and certainly nothing to cause a panic attack in my MC.
It's on one of the latest updates if you choose that Penny gives you a ride back to college : she wanna do it again there inside the car but she doesn't tell you that other unknown girls are there to enjoy the show. MC notices it and freaks out, that's more or less what I remembered
