I tried using this but get a bunch of errors (and no image) in the Kasia catnip stick scene, like this:

No idea if it's a mod thing, old save thing, or the game just missing bits. Might be due to some of the comments I see in here about this not being a SS version but a patreon/free one?

Shame as from the text that seems like the first great scene the game has gotten.

Other than that the game is more of a chore than I remember. Hot girls and a good setup... but so much just fade in and fade out stuff (I love turning off transitions in renpy), slow text speed... it just feels so sluggish. It also ctd a few times, but that might be the mod or something else's fault. Also nothing to indicate what you might still have to see, so other than the missing scene nothing here felt particularly fresh from last time I played which I think was quite a while ago. If there's any main story stuff to come then with nothing to show that skipping through days just becomes dull.

can confirm those image names are from the SS version, which has more content. the mod lets you read the text in the game, but doesn't contain the missing images.

I'm not going to lie to you. This game has problems. Serious problems. Especially once you start playing as the monster in the simulation and the ludonarritive dissonence kicks in.

So, genuine question, with the problems noted and from what i'm reading the SS version has more content and better scenes .... is it worth bothering with this version?

I'd keep going but with sandboxy games they tend to need time invested to get anywhere and i'd rather put that time into a game that's worth it.

To make impossible for people to jump dialogue (like Renpy with Control key) and test other choices to unlock scenes that are locked, so people pay for the Total Override option to save time (time is always short in modern society, and dev want to stonks on it).

So in a nutshell: Harder engine to crack to try to force people into the "pay to fap" option, unless you wanna spend hours without a skip dialogue option until you finally unlock what you want.

Not going that well for him, only 101 supporters.

As an EXAMPLE, another game:
NTR PHONE is a niche game, with simple art that happens on a phone (but good writing, like Wyldspace) where dev already said he don't care about patreon codes being shared on F95 (need patreon to access to exclusive girls storyline), have 3.117 subscribers (wyldspace 101). And I'm sure its dev have a LOT less work with his art and coding than Wyldspace.

Who would have imagined that thinking on the customer and dont blue balling him on day 15 or something, to force him to restart the game and play for minutes to MAYBE (if he writes all choices in a paper to be sure to make it all different, without ANY skip dialogue option) get the scene he wants (if not, redo it 2-3-4 times), was going to attract people to support because they want the dev to succeed and the game to continue.

The issue isn't just with this dev, quite a lot of them suffer from the same delusion.

They seem to think people will pay for extra things a free version doesn't have. They won't, they just move on to something else.

People are more than willing to support a dev for games they enjoy, less so for paywalled content.

Fortunately most devs get it so this isn't common but sadly those that do it often have good games that will never bring in a large playerbase.

With more devs going to Steam and GoG meaning people can buy with 1 payment rather than monthly subs it means devs wanting subscribers are competing against each other for less paying players. People paying subs will usually go for the games they get the most out of and want to support to see the dev continue.

there is also the fact that u know hiding cheats around a paywall does nothing AS I can just cheat without there cheats

sorry, the mod doesn't let you watch extra SS scenes. i made it to enable the Tier3 code, which is a separate thing

Fuck it, I did the one thing I don't like doing and subbed.

Prefer one shot payments on something like Steam or GoG but I was enjoying this so why the fuck not.

I swear I spend more on adult games than I do on my normal gaming hobby. It's a good job my girlfriend knows i'm a pervy bitch or i'd have a lot of splainin to do.

Normally I wouldn't mind throwing some cash at a dev, but I honestly can't justify it for this one since it's so buggy and making the free version frustrating to play makes me not want to support it on principle tbh.

Not sure what scenes are different in the SS version apart from the catgirl one but right now I'd rather wait until the dev fixes his game.

I don't even play the new updates. I just go through the files, see what's new and move on.
