Is there a known issue with Bruce's deal?

I took the resistance option on day 1, but somehow at day 8 I was still at 9 days left on the pill even though I only came once.

I'm thinking it maybe reset when I did a work demo?

amazing update love the new secretary we need more black playable characters as to my knowlege theres only one at the moment. Maybe like anya ivy would be a great choice

Amazing update, the new secretary was great, though the new Bruce scene and the party went a bit farther than initially expected.
Quick question though, it feels like this scene would count as Non-Con.

In the future, will it be affected by the Non-Con toggle in the settings? Because I don't think it currently is.

Im getting the message of getting 50% more more xp, but the xp needed for next lvl doesnt change, so it dont works.
Also when you renew the 7 days sauna and get go do yoga and get aproached by someone you get hard locked on the gym (you can avoid that by going to check the plan just as you renew the sauna access and you can continue as if nothing happened).

Step 1
After accepting the orb the next step is to call bruce at night before going to sleep.

You do not have to use a time slot to call Bruce .
The option appears in your bedroom at home after any of your planned evening activities .
The option is located next to activities like using your computer, or going to sleep.

Nevertheless, it can take several evenings until Bruce actually picks up the phone.

Step 2

After Bruce picks up the phone he will agree to meet in the mall in the afternoon.
Use a timeslot to travel to the mall on an afternoon.
Next to all the other store options you should see an option to meet up with Bruce.

im currently in the evening and i see no phone or call option, maybe its because of the mods?

Why is all mods female player character mods?

i think because the game is supposed to be based around playing as female. did you notice the "male" characters are just female porn stars gender bent to look male? except 1 mod called get caged where you play as Nicolas cage.

One question ya'll as I joined the band wagon only after last update. I had the impression that tried/true mods get integrated with each update, but I don't see any listed in log, was I wrong?

Some mods get integrated yes, but not all the time. There was two outfit mods that expanded the base game wardrobe and the exhibitionist mod that got integrated for example. Dev already said they want to integrate the Office Babes mod in the future as well.

Because there is a tool that makes making character mods easy. Other mods you need to actually know a bit of coding.

It is not hard, just open the html in an txt or cod editor and find the relevant variable and use a format similar to x-change.life/wiki/docs/how-to-edit-npc-stats/ in the wiki to change variable.

I believe you, but I cant find it, or how i would then format the command.

There is a temporary buff "A medallion with #3 in it" game totally stuck (No options appear after the buff is announced). Granted I was doing a modded gameplay so I don't know if it is in the vanilla game. If someone is far enough along to actually get this buff and can they confirm if it freezes the game up or just the mods.

Loving the update.
I will say though, it feels relatively difficult to pursue the new secretary, given how fast you can get yourself forced into sex when being a secretary yourself.
I understand that making sex as a male difficult is part of the game's philosophy though.

most probably, I disabled every mod i had and the option showed at night, then, next day, saved, enabled my mods and got the event running without issues

Has anyone been able to trigger the new content after giving Bruce a Breeder Pill and getting Bree pregnant when playing Blackjack?


Is the game waiting for the full cycle of pregnancy of Bruce to complete for him to return - or does it never happen?

In theory once could assume that Bruce stops the pregnancy as soon as possible.
On Day 49 in one play-through and Bruce / Bree are still away.

Some players may be interested in a role-play experience where you accept the random-selected fate that the game hands on a play-through.

For some it can be helpful to have the optional choice to disable manual saves to remove the temptation to constantly "reroll" to get a better outcome.



Agreed, for those players who would prefer a more relaxed experience it could be interesting if the game created "key-moment" saves before or after major story plot-points.



I was more thinking about an experience similar to role-playing games where you have a permadeath option. (Diablo)
One tiny mistake can lead to a death who removes the progress players made in countless hours.

The underlying reason behind this mechanic is that "final choices" make every experience more meaningful.

When you start up X-Change Life you can customize the difficulty by altering various settings like the stats.
Enabling or disabling manual saves, bath room save locations or key-moment saves could just be one more option for those interested...

I am always baffled how what we old people used to call 'self imposed rules' seems to be a technical issue for so many. Simply dont save. Dont make the dev spend valuable time on a feature that can easily be achieved by ignoring existing features. Every single line of code means it has to be maintained, so less is usually better.

Saves are disabled on the most recent version. I try to save at the beginning of the day, and even two weeks into the game, I'm unable to save the game.

Other feedback: I'd never played wordle before and had no idea what I was expected to do when I was forced to be a secretary. I eventually figured it out. But,it would have helped to get at least some basic instructions. I spent the first half of the day confused as to what I was supposed to do.

I'm also having trouble even opening the mod loader. I have Java on my computer, but it's currently unable to load that .jar application. The mod installation instructions didn't really help all that much. I tried to follow the instruction, it just never opens. I have a windows 11 build does anyone know how to get it to work?
