Hi, I'm about to play the game, and there are several character mods and one for Blacked. Is it better to play it without mods first, or are there mods that enhance the game?
My advise to keep the number of mods on the low side, say Blacked and Dredding Intimacy with some the Mall mods to add some variety on your visits. Maybe avoid Spike Fun or Bar Drugging unless its your thing, because you can have a night going great and then a spike event happens out of the blue. Likely the best advise is to start with say a list of ten mods to start out with and then as one plays you can add more mods once you feel comfortable.Hi, I'm about to play the game, and there are several character mods and one for Blacked. Always start any game without mods. In case you experience trouble , it is always a nightmare to figure out what people actually did to their game. Despite that: why throw in stuff , when you dont even know yet how the base game feels? Mods are meant to either enhance your experience, which means you should have experience with it in the first place. Or they fix issues that the dev itself doesnt, which isnt the case either for this.Hi, I'm about to play the game, and there are several character mods and one for Blacked. I played it without mods and gradually introduced a couple that I thought were interesting, I now play unmodded because Aphrodite added those mods to the base game... and no I can't remember which ones they were now!Hi, I'm about to play the game, and there are several character mods and one for Blacked. I think the market for breeder in this game comes from spiking people. Is it just me, or is the only character in the game depicted liking anything to do with impregnation is the player character? I wonder where the market for breeder pills come from.
It fits into the lore of X-change, breeder being the best "screw you!" pill for your enemies.I think the market for breeder in this game comes from spiking people.
So it's essentially Galaxy Gas. Sold as whipped cream but in practice it's used for something nefarious with the companies involved knowing full well of what's it's used for.I think the market for breeder in this game comes from spiking people.
The lore of X-change is the whole problem. It fits into the lore of X-change, breeder being the best "screw you!" pill for your enemies.
It is still America...It's a racist society where we almost never see black patrons admitted to bars and nightclubs.
I guess for people with no memories or concept of other places in the world, who also happen to live on a private island and conveniently don't interact with any of the corporations, Summer City must look like paradise on Earth. Specially when they would be hunt down by the "Wolf" in any other place. The lore of X-change is the whole problem.
According to the resistance group (I forget what they're called) that we meet at the beach with the red headed model, Aphrodite is a benevolent Goddess and Summer City is the happiest city on earth. But is it really?
Apparently 'happiness' is Summer City is brought about by a shallow hookup culture fueled by the pill market, which only enriches the corporations.
The culture is highly corrupt, we regularly see employees and managers embezzling their employers resources to obtain sexual gratification.
It's also highly inefficient, distribution systems regularly breakdown, they can't even keep the vending machines stocked.
Pranking, which is poisoning of personal enemies with expensive drugs (further enriching the corporations) that can cause deleterious side effects.
Workers rights are practically nonexistent, with managers resorting to pimping out female employees to satisfy male blue collar workers.
It's a racist society where we almost never see black patrons admitted to bars and nightclubs.
The setting of Summer City is heavily inspired by 1980s Miami/Vice City nostalgia. In my own headcanon, I like to think that the X-change pills have similar qualities to antidepressants on top of its obvious nefarious and sexual uses. Kind of similar to the game 'We Happy Few', where characters who take the pills experience their dystopian world in a much more happy state than those who don't. It's possible that some inhabitants of Summer City take X-change just to experience an artificial state of happiness while living in a dystopian future. The lore of X-change is the whole problem.

I know it's just a porn game, but the lore and world-building of the game is very interesting. It's one of the things I look forward to with every update.
That was your first mistake, which reminds me of a quote from the 1987 movie Roxanne with Steve Martin.I wrote my post as a parody.
