I'm not a Blender expert, but afaik all big Blender artists like Wildeer, Jackerman, and Hydra use Eevee render engine. Cycles is for rendering scenes and uses processor instead of graphics card.
Not really use cpu , you can set to GPU compute on device and on preferences and then select system, choose optiX for faster render because CUDA is bad Mmhkay
