Pretty easy to research..
Not all parts of your body have the same skin tone. It gets darker or lighter on several parts. The same is with butts. Due to the higher concentration of melanocytes (the cells producing melanin) in the skin folds, our butts appear darker as compared to other parts of the body.

I dated a girl that have nipples and areolas nearly the same color as her skin tone (Caucasian) it was pretty weird experiences sometimes. Like oppai said there is lots of pigmentation when it comes to sex organs or nipples, porn and hentai has us accustomed to the pink color.
