Yeah, it's way too saturated. Might be an issue with choosing a saturated color that looks nice at first hand, but once you add light effects it makes it look very bright.

i agree with wanting more poses, but im not a huge fan of the more extreme stuff like you mentioned, theres already a fair few artist doing that anyway, but all the more power to you if thats what you want

I think its just animating the bones in a way they don't normally look. its like if the raising eyebrows gif was frozen mid-raise.
