Homie did not play the game at all, Damn.
It's almost like if you boot up the game and then start a new adventure you'll get taken to a magical screen where you can make your own character!

You have to fully complete the tutorial dungeon, after which you'll have some dialogue with two girls. One of them will mention a mirror in your room, and this is where you finally get to customise your character.
So you don't 'create' your character per se, you always start as a default one - but you then have full reign over customisation after you unlock the home base.
Surely this is a bit disingenuous, no? That's not how the game works, and you know that fine well since you've played it tooHomie did not play the game at all, Damn.

Homie may have played the game for a whole half an hour or more, especially with the number of combat encounters in that tutorial dungeon, and especially with how slow-paced the turn-based combat system is. For a new player encountering sex scenes in those tutorial dungeon battles, it'd be reasonable for them to want to enjoy them - hence the question about how to customise the player characer.
I personally feel that the character customisation should come at the start of the game for this reason, but maybe if a small tooltip were displayed to say 'You'll be able to customise your character later, don't worry - but for now you need to get through this dungeon' then it would put people's minds at ease.

some sort of search function in the clothes store and maybe bigger/more readable text would be really appreciated.

But,the search is needed.
There are a lot of Things appearing in Stores and Inventory.
It's hard to find one specific Thing you need in a bunch of Things.

It's true text isn't very readable on some potato configs, especially on smaller screens like laptops'. I don't really see a solution except 'play on a real (desktop) computer' or 'connect your laptop to a TV or something'. You have loads of lore and text, and that's a good thing for immersion in any RPG - the [old] Bethesda way. More books and readables her and there would even be nice, provided your proofreader survives the ordeal
Some menus do get clunky, especially the Quests/Drifter ones. You might want to either simplify the interface, or to mesh with the Drifter's dialogue altogether; sometimes I need to hit ESC+Journal 4-6 times to be able to cancel an unwanted (or bugged) quest.
Still, the RNG quests is a very good touch, do keep it!
(maybe even tweak it to push peeps toward an undiscovered Elite)Anyway, good job so far. The RPG feel mesh well with your style, and warrants the huge maps to some extent. Different builds are viable, and Elites encourage you to respec (after they kicked yer butt) and experiment.
The cons would be, the somewhat slow and repetitive combat. Enemies and esp. superelites could use a signature move, perhaps based on their clan (ie the Divas making you wank for them, the Prison force having a curse turning 30% of your moves to "self-binding", this kinda thing). It would add a random, personal factor the "heavy bondage" or "threesome" options don't quite bring home.
Looking forward to purchase the full game, like almost always. Thanks again for showing western devs the right way to produce games (ie finish and release them...)

seems like we wont be getting any updates here for a while its been a month since 0.4 came out.
The last free version was 3.5 and that was released in early March. It's now the middle of May and there have been 3 patreon releases since then (3.6, 4 and now 4.1 today). Guess it's just not a priority.
There were Delays before these three Updates, too.
After MrZed asked not to merge the latest Builds for at least a Month after the Update, whoever uploads the Project here got lazy and started uploading the latest Builds two months after the Update.
