My first playthrough was as a fighter, so I've tried a second one as a spellcaster, but I just can't go through with it. Spells having cast times puts them in a position where you can easily be caught by attacks you could've interrupted as a fighter. A fighter can theoretically play solo; a spellcaster is going to get bound up immediately if they play solo. Spellcasters already have the weakness of lower health/health regen in return for fp regen, damage, and versatility, spells having cast times on top of that makes them torturous, and not in a fun way.
Also, I'm pretty sure cast times put them at the mercy of lower attack orders; instant abilities can prempt enemies' attacks and potentially mess them up, while spells with cast times can't.

I am with you with that. I usually play big bonk build in almost every game. Works like a charm here too. Shortsword is pretty op. Huge HP bost and a ton of damage. 2 Most important stats after speed.
If I go solo with my talent tree, I kill 90% of all enemies with one aoe skill. Then if you wanna tryhard you just recover mana and finish them off and repeat. 0 threat of ever losing a battle. (Full speed/dodge with rapier is also crazy op. Like 29speed and 92% dodge rate is just ridiculous)
Since there is acid kick in the game now too, you don´t even need to sex any bosses anymore either if you dont want to.
But a magician needs to cast a "slow speed" splash effect spell. Huge risk, same result. But also many less defensive stats. I see spell casting as playing an intentional hard mode right now.
I would wish this game had genital stretching and alignment... instead of the gens just clipping through like... at least a LITTLE bit :/ but this is good game anyway

You need to free/unlock some of them with quests
Also you need to talk to one woman inside the base temple to enable companions (after a chain of quests having been completed) in the first place
And lastly you need to talk to people in your base and ask them to assist you
If all of this doesn´t work, MR. Zed implemented a reset function for all dialogue in the game. It never removes collectables or anything. You can always safely do it.
so i have finished all the task but for some reason i still cannot enter bunny fort, anyone counter this problem

When you have finished all these quests (sorceress in peril, reunion, "back again" especially!), you need to click them and turn in the quest.
Then talk to the girl in your base in the lounge area I believe
version 0.5.1 my allies all have the defeat debuf.... it never disapears. and one of them always starts the fight with restraints on. even befor the defeat debuf was a thing
I also finished the back again quest (twice) only Fiona refuses to talk to me after the quest. I found the hidden passage in the fort interior, only it doesn't open, even after pulling all the levers
