I've discovered an exploit with those that makes the game a CAKEWALK!
Grandly went pretty hard for a while, the regen + Life Energy + Vortex made it nigh unkillable until enemy levels got stupidly high in DLC 2.
Edit: Shadoom actually has the perfect combo I want of super tanky + Lamenting Spite + Body Regen + Protect but I didn't figure that out till I finished the game. Grandly also has the regen which Shadoom doesn't but Shadoom has Soul Drain so who knows who wins. Hadetheos also beats it in every stat except hp and doesn't have perfect guard but does have a better version of soul drain. It's fast too so it can get off Lamenting Spite in scenarios where you'd get KO'd no matter how tanky you are.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this already, but going to the second floor of the teahouse after buying the house just crashes the game? It makes 2 scenes unobtainable
Did you apply the hotfix?
Edit: Is that the Teahouse? If it is the Teahouse, then it works as you can see. Because according to the file comparison I posted in Page 97 of this topic, it involves two scenes with Hina and Kanata! I was able to see Hina's scene but not Kanata yet because I reset the whole game for a 3rd time so that one unlocks later!

okay now tell us please, is beating the tournament a requirement to get past the dolls on the 2nd floor of that left building on the island?
It always says "If I beat that person it will move" but idk what they mean because there's no way to start a battle with them right there.
Oh those ones? Those are just normal trainers around the island after you beat Tama. Stuff like the nun girls and the twins. Just walk around the island after the tama fight and fight any new trainers you see. There's 2 fights against Akira and Taiga that I don't think are required though, probably because of how hard they are. Well, easy enough with even 1 cheat tackle, the issue is their aces are really tough.
I beat everyone who's on that island (except that 50-battle-tournament) but that tower is still blocked for me.. maybe I missed someone but the queue is full of 5-6 people, not just one.
But so you're saying unlocking the doll-tower isn't done by the tournament? Did you go trough before beating it?
Ok so i was able to view the scenes in the room you access after defeating all of the resort trainers. The house you can buy is the one at the left of the resort where you "trade" the VIP card or the house, maybe that wasn't the actual reason but i only checked the teahouse after that so i assumed that was the reason...
yeah the star trainer tournament and the end tower challenge are both unnecessary to enter the dev room, you just need to battle everyone on the resort. have you filled out the gallery? if you have then it should definitely be open to you.
By the way, does anyone know where to find yarimon number 182? i've beaten every trainer (i think) and looked everywhere but it's all question marks so i don't even know where to start looking for it
