The DLC trainer levels are meant to always be higher level than the player, no matter what. The max level is 145.So I'm in the post-game trying to do the DLC battles
Been scraping by, but now my trainer level is 138 and I can't figure out how to get it higher. All the remaining enemy trainers I'm aware of have yarimons at level 160+.
Is there something I'm missing? Is it supposed to be this extreme an uphill battle?
edit: I realize cheat tackle is a thing, but I managed to get this far only using it the one time it was mandatory in the prologue, so it seems weird that I'd have to now
How would swapping out chikeflare be an advantage? The DLC trainer levels are meant to always be higher level than the player, no matter what. The max level is 145.
And yes, these battles are made to be extra tough, but beatable without cheat tackle. Use soul boost item + ability to swap out Chikeflare as your advantage
can I ask for the sleeping oneIf anyone is interested I can share a link to the English version of the mangas here:

Oh wow, I've check the CHAR003 thinking it was Sanae-chan image set, I've been surprised with sc*t stuff... WTFdata\www\img\pictures\H_Scene is all I bothered copying over, overwriting all prompted. Seems to work just fine to uncensor the latest verssion using the old version's files from my limited testing.
Sorry, that specific one only exists in Korean and Japanese. All the other ones are in English. I'm guessing you're asking because you couldn't find it.can I ask for the sleeping one
Chikeflare is relatively slow, esp in the environment that has highervlvl enemjes than her.How would swapping out chikeflare be an advantage?
Her shield skill and raw stats are just so absurd, and she's got that super strong light attack that fixes tyrant blow's accuracy problemChikeflare is relatively slow, esp in the environment that has highervlvl enemjes than her.
She's really good still with her nature unable to take status debuff, but it could be a gamechanger to swap her with others
She's the strongest overall, but Moostar's Personality/nature of every dodge from him deals half the total hp of the opponent yarimon, paired with its dodge + defense build, or Kurotorofu's ridiculous combo of Body Regen + Soul Drain to regain easily more than half its hp, and Melancholic Resentment that debuffs the opponent to not able to heal and deal damage (essentially half the hp bar) per turn is even more ridiculous. Her shield skill and raw stats are just so absurd, and she's got that super strong light attack that fixes tyrant blow's accuracy problem
I'm sure there's a yarimon I could pick for each individual battle that's better but she's probably the strongest monster in the game even without cheat tackle
edit: also I did finish the game, was able to beat two of the four final trainers without cheat tackle but I couldn't be arsed to switch up my team just for this so now my EX attack counter is at 3 and I'll just live with that
Who else do you think is strong? Soliche seems another good contender with start of battle Burn that reduce 25% def and then Blazing Passion for 120 base power Fire attack that increase own attack and then cycle through other powerful Fire attacks to relentlessly attack the enemy every turn.
