It is not a meme. Nintendo literally was just granted patents in the US for "summoning creature from thrown object" mechanic, which directly applies to this game. I am sure there are ways to dismiss the patent, but it is still relevant.
Please, enough with the 'tracing Pokémon' narrative... it's long dead. Even Nintendo's vicious lawyers have had to acknowledge that Palworld's designs are legally distinct, and it's not like Gamefreak conjured their own designs out of thin air, either.

You get a optional battle against one of the devs if you only used cheat tackle once, giving you a fun challenging battle and a additional trainer level which you wouldn't have otherwise.
but playing it with cheat tackle can be refreshing as is, 1 lvl won't do anything and additional battle was just usual, no further difficulty
So play as you feel better. After 1 completion with relaxed cheat tackle abuse you free to try the "pokemon esque gameplay", which good too, but with other feel

I just figured out some kinda broken strat. Not sure how broken but it is kinda overpowered. For DLC2, I got Goopcake. First move Hyper Toxic Liquid and then switch yarimon to Gellen to Angel kiss, zen mind, mirror strike and sweep their entire team. 3rd Yarimon could be a filler Yarimon or Chikeflare. I spammed this on every tournament and got very far. Only downside is against 1st yarimon that are immune to statuses, but that can just be countered by switching Yarimon.
