In regards to TheCount, I both agree & disagree. Casting Call was a hell of a debut animation, and is still one of my favourites. HOWEVER, in terms of technical skill, I feel that his improvement is quite tangible in the timeline of (Akali anim) > (Neeko anim) > (Seraphine anim) > (Kai'Sa anim) > (Cammy anim). Neeko & Kai'Sa will always be my favourites, but I might be biased because I just really like those characters. Based on the Juno anim and the WIPs from the current Overwatch project, he unfortunately seems to be slipping, or at the very least stagnating.

So there was a post that they made back in December, explaining some stuff. Seems like the KDA anim is faaaaar from release, and they also posted some (seemingly) canceled animation(? One of them being Juno and I'm so bummed maaaaaan

Both in december and in this last message Yeero sent, seems like they're just having a hard time / taking some time out. From what it seems, they're still working on the animation and it's gonna be done at some point.

I have faith it's gonna be out like in december or something, maybe a bit more? Let's just give it time, might take a long time to finish it, but it's gonna be worth it.

the thing is, once these animators kick off the "hiatus", "chilling", "taking a leg back" period, they almost never get back to putting out not even 10% of the amount of work they were doing before, so dare I say, its cooked, its just a matter of time until he officially announces retirement.

No one evers believes me when I hint towards this and they say I'm complaining. People don't recognize the complacency in others when they're complacent themselves.

It's unfortunate when people retire but that's their own prerogative, it's only annoying when they try to drag shit out for cash, and since Yeero halted his Patreon stuff quite a while ago iirc I have no qualms with him.

Writing like that he's definitely burnt out. Personally I don't think that work itself is the answer. And constant procrastination will only piss you off if you have any kind of work ethic. I think the solution is more like getting recognition and appreciation for the work you do.

Part of me wants to believe that this'll boost Yeero back to the popular page, but it's been so long that they've been away. Many artists have popped up since and while we gooners are gonna celebrate the return of the king, the general public has probably mostly forgotten now.

That being said, I think this will release late 2025 to mid 2026 based on how much trust I put on Yeero. People were critical of Rash Nemain as well for takinga little longer than usual with the Judy animation, but we know it was an amazing animation. I'm just hoping this is some massive collab that results in some of the best Blender porn, if not the best Blender porn ever.
