Dev Log #4 - Chapter 2 + Preview

This week I worked on writing many more scenes, I’m still maintaining the focus on specific routes and branches so I don’t get lost trying to do different ones at the same time.
I did some more posing in DAZ as well, the more I write the more I see how much more there is to do, so I gotta keep up!
There isn’t much to add this time since a lot of the progress was mainly on posing and writing. But I want to at least show you something, without spoiling of course...

To me Kayla is even worse. First we have Kimbitch who thaught only of herself and next to her Kayla, a person who should've been a friend to MC. Not only that she betrayed that trust but also secretly carries a tourch for MC. No thanks and you're totaly right. I also in my play could never do that to Zeke. Bros before hoes.

Meh Harem... dunno why so many want that, its just unrealistic as fuck (yeah yeah porn game) and makes every game and relationship build up totally pointless. I played so many games with Harem and every single one of them is getting boring VERY fast. The best games around here doesnt have harem at all, at most you can cheat on a girlfriend or mabye get 2 or 3 girls together... well which could be considered as harem too, but its another thing when the harem involves more than 3 girls, at this point its just meh... But well, thats only my opinion. And no, being "optional" doesnt make it better i think... cause how will this work? At one point you choose "ah i could bang all of them but only choose one" yeah.... sounds about a thing every guy would do. This could easily ruin the whole game. Just my 2 cents about the harem idea...

Other than that, good start, like it, looking good too, can be a good one, will watch it closely... good luck DEV, but give the "harem" a real good thaught and how you will go with it.

The characters look great, the plot is also very exciting, immersion is very strong, when kim to leave, can really appreciate the MC's sense of suffocation and loss, choose to let go of kim to leave, you can say that love is to let each other go the way they want to go, rather than become each other's hindrance, thanks to the production team to bring such a good game!

I was thinking that the only way Kim could be redeemable was if she had found out you cheated on her with your friend (forgot her name now) Kayla I believe? but she was not acting hurt in anyway before leaving so that makes no sense. If she hadn't decided to talk to Kayla? maybe there was a tiny hope for an explanation. For me, Kim telling your mutual friend and not you seals any hope for any reason to be acceptable for continuing a relationship outside of professional/gtfo.

At this point who even knows if she is even meant to be a LI going forward she could turn into the antagonist at work for all I know, though I doubt it. Its fun to speculate and nice to have a game deep enough to consider the story implications so much. Chaquinno doing a great job.

This week I wrote a big chunk of one of the biggest events happening in Chapter 2, this is part of the introduction for the last LI and also the start of another one’s path. There are important characters showing up in here which will play important roles moving forward, I’m making sure to give them a proper introduction.
I started looking into some girl’s thematic songs now, like I did for Kim and Julia in Chapter 1. It’s not easy to find good Creative Commons license songs, especially with vocals, so I had to look inside of paid services for better ones.
Artlist remains my preferred choice since I'm already subscribed to their plan. I have come across positive and negative reviews about them, but I’m willing to take the chance and continue using their service. However, I will be cautious and limit the number of songs I use, this way, I can minimize any potential losses and explore alternative options.
This first month into the development of Chapter 2 has been quite productive, here’s hoping to keep up the pace.

In regards to Kim personally I would prefer a revenge route where the mc acts nice then uses her and discards her showing off all his other options and saying why the fuck would I chose you.
