yeah she did but that's in Korea. At no point she makes a believable case of him being nothing more than a powerful thug in Korea. For me it's a stretch to say he is powerful or has connections that will come get to the MC. Sure it can be true but without any real proof it feels more like she has real fear and trauma over him being a abusive father to me just can't feel believable he can harm the MC unless he leaves Korea and tracks down the MC or the MC goes to Korea.

and that would have been how hard to explain instead of leaving? Again, nothing has changed in her situation now that she is back. She was just a coward dealing with the whole thing. Had she explained before leaving, I might have forgiven her, but the way she left no way.

I remember she mentions she didn’t say anything because she knew the mc would have found a way to convincer her to stay, like I said, she could have handled things better. It was wrong to leave like that? Yeah, but it’s not like she did it on purpose to hurt the mc. Either way I can perfectly understand if people doesn’t like her.

I guess we’ll have to wait for the history to progress to see if her father it’s a real threat.

even if what she said is true and her father is someone to fear ( which I don't believe). To me it's still selfish to let the MC in the dark as to the reason why for a year when it was a serious relationship before she ended things by leaving. She could of at least sent a letter a message or something a month or two after she left and got settled. To me that comes across as selfish and someone that doesn't care for the mental well being of someone they supposedly love. Not knowing especially when it was a serious relationship could do more than hurt the MC's feeling but make have some issues in his love life or cause some kind of emotional / mental trauma.

Nah she looks beautiful, but somehow the cute and beautiful asian li's are always given somewhat shitty characters (in dreamland too). Nothing stopped Kim to tell MC why she felt the need to leave (and break up) in the first place.

She knew he would've tried to stop her and considering what happened to her sister's ex, she didn't want something bad to happen to him too.

speak for your self that is not the reason why I dislike her. Yeah she is only mid when it comes to looks but I really don't care how she looks all about the character for me and she isn't a good character for a romance. I dislike her for what she did and her reasons behind. Don't think I need to repeat what has been said already earlier today as to why.

I'm still a couple chapters behind on this one but I've gotten far enough in to see Kim's explanation on why she ghosted the man she supposedly loved. The bullshit-o-meter was firing all alarms on that one. Came off to me like a rehearsed excuse. She knew she hurt MC, but she didn't even bat an eye when she walked into the building and seeing him for the first time after what she did. Not even the slightest reaction.
