Dev Log #17 - Chapter 4
Hey, everyone!
These past few weeks, I’ve mostly been focused on writing and coding—mainly fixing a few issues in the code. There weren’t many major problems, just some long-standing issues that didn’t really affect gameplay. Either way, (I hope) they’re fixed now, though I will still run a few more tests once all the content is finished.
I finished adding Steam achievements for the Prologue, Chapter 1 and 2. Now I just need to code the ones for Chapter 3 and the rest for Chapter 4 before I can add them to Steam.
A few people suggested I add Steam Cards to the game, which it’s actually a great idea. I’ve been reading up on how they work—it might not be ready at launch, but if not, I’ll add them in later.
Also, we’ve hit 1000 wishlists! Some people mentioned that the game popped up in their Steam’s store suggestions while browsing, so thank you so much to everyone who’s been wishlisting it.

I love finding these little "easter eggs" that tell you more about the dev. He's mature writing already screams he has some life experience and seeing Smooch confirms he's OG. Beautiful game, best of luck to him

Well if that girl is acting that way, it has to depend on your choices
Because in my playthrough, girls don't just throw themselves at the MC
I never saw the scene you are describing
In fact, in my playthrough with my girl Kimberly, nothing happens with her if you don't show interest
And the only reason Kimberly returns your feelings so quickly is because you two had a history before in the past

It's definitely the mod. And it's not a harem game.
I have checked every single line of dialogue and code, and apart from the initial girlfriend, there is no lewd or intimate scenes with anyone without your choice.
Content such as Kim's relationship at the start or Keyla's sex flashback is included purely for narrative purposes. When the time comes, you'll have the choice to reject anyone you want.
Liv—and any of the girls, for that matter—is not forced on you. If you choose to go out and have sex with her, that's entirely your decision.
I coded the game to give you full agency. If a mod is forcing certain outcomes, that's beyond my control.

I can assure you my review is negative not because of having to hang out with every girl at once.Modding this game totally defeats the purpose of making choices meaningful.
Dude's clearly using a mod that lets you pick every choice back-to-back, then leaves a negative review because he doesn't understand the plot or timeline.
In that regard, there are simply too many.
There are too many girls, yet you don't have to choose all of them.
