lmao, i think its still better than the usual "nightly recaps" of the mc in other avns but yeah its a bit strange and even more considering that the mom NEVER contributes anything enlightening or helpful at all. Its always just "You know how to decide", "How do you feel about that?" like shes some fortune cookie

That's because she's a psychologist/psychiatrist. They're not supposed to tell someone what to do, but help their clients find out for themselves. They're a sounding board, more than anything.
That said, their chats do feel impotent, in a way. For instance, we'll chat with her about Kim twice. We can tell her we'd be forgiving of Kim, but then don't actually forgive her. During the 2nd chat with mom, she'll say something like "you told me how you'd react, and that's what you did" (paraphrasing), no matter if that's true.
Mom also suffers from the same issue the MC has, saying a lot of words without saying anything meaningful, which he likely picked up from her. And, that's where I agree with you, getting some kind of guidance in the sense of "have you tried looking at it another way?", or her playing the devil's advocate regardless of your choices, could add some depth to these conversations. (Though, her first job as his mom is to support him, not to make him doubt himself.)

Well, this avn is one of the best, I can be very friendly, like bff, with every girl without being forced to be a jerk, I can enjoy being with them without being forced to pursue them romantically but one thing that I dislike that Riley isn't romanceable and we don't have almost any content with her but I guess it is what it is so, Solo Route here I am. The funny thing is that I'm not interested in sex and actually lose interest once I get to that point so, a platonic relationship with her would be my cup of tea...
I love that the dialogue isn't braindead and it's actually fun to read and it's easy to be engrossed in story.

Hey, everyone!
I hope you are enjoying Chapter 3!

You might have noticed that the gallery is a little bit empty. That’s because I focused on making the story content and releasing it as soon as I could.
Now that it’s finally out, I’m back to working on the reworks and extra content before starting work on Chapter 4. It will not take as long as Chapter 3’s development cycle, obviously, since all the content I have to work on is already halfway done.
I am also addressing some feedback and making small changes accordingly, as well as fixing the usual issues. As soon as everything is ready, I will release an update patch with all the content.

I agree with your post and fucking hate Kim to the point I didn’t even read her comments during the game and when they make us go on business trip together, just skipped through her scenes. (I have a bad feeling this game is going to make you get back together with kim) if it does I’m out.
Also even though it seems like the game wants to make your character a mama boy simp, I’m trying to break from that mold.
I wish they would have given an option to go out with Liv from the Massachusetts office instead of forcing us to Xmas shop with that bitch.

Alessa will allow you to be with other girls...and offer a throuple with her gf Vera. Vera is willing to step aside and let Alessa be with the MC as a couple or for them to form a loving throuple. You get a bit a free pass temporarily as Alessa will expect you to make up your mind in the end if you want to be with her solo or with her and Vera. Note: Vera is not a solo LI and she will never leave Alessa to be with the MC only.

Kimberly, aka Kimmy loves the MC so much and given they only ever had a sexual relationship in the past, she will allow him to see other girls... but that is also temporary as she will fight like hell to make him want to be with her exclusively. So don't expect any free pass with her to be permanent.

Pretty much you are safe assuming all the other girls are best as solo LIs.

That I don't know, but based on what has been said in his discord, it sounds like he will upload a patched version with the changes before he releases the next full chapter.

There will be a 4.1 most likely. Chaq already alluded to this in Discord and in the actual game script. He just ran out of time and didn't want to piss people off by delaying further.

And the ending of the last chapter clearly shows dev is cooking even more cheap drama for the drama sake. Everything here is too gloomy for my taste, this not what I'm looking for right now.

ive yet to play the update but I know the dev said they are going to make some changes to Kim in a patch so you can avoid her expect for work related things. But if that is too much for you yeah not the game for you.

Personally even characters I dont like I still like to see content with them to learn every bit of info about them, as long as it isn't something like a forced date or hangout. Not saying you have this opinion but I never will understand why some people want certain characters erased from a game entirely for a number of reasons besides just saying no to them for optional dates / hangouts. As I played a game if you make bad decisions a LI will basically disappear from a game and it kind of feels cheap and bad that they are suddenly gone from so much of the game.
