VN Ren'Py Yesterday's Crossroads [Ch.3 v0.4.1a] [CHAQUINN0]

Finished my first playthrough. Obviously missed some scenes here and there but right now it looks like you'd need...8 playthroughs, maybe 9? to really lock down all the content, and I can worry about that later when it is further along.

I played with URM but I didn't tweak anything, mostly just looking at the pathing as I went along. I love that the "bad" actions are called douche points. MC is relatable without being incompetent. Pretty much everyone in this is flawed in some way, even if the flaw isn't inherently bad (like Dina burying herself in work to cope with the loss of Theodore). I really love the MC's mom, one of the better ones I've seen in AVNs.

While I'm thinking about it, random question that isn't exactly LI related yet is: What's the trigger for the Liv date when you are visiting the branch in chapter 3? Is it being on bad terms with Kim?

Edit- Forgot to mention the transitions. There are a couple of places where there is no transition and there really should be one. The scene where you tell Kim she's going with you on the trip ends abruptly and jumps into the Olivia/Julia art scene. There was another jump later but I can't recall what it was.

I have to agree with this list on pretty much all points. I, as well, will probably not touch either Kayla or Kim at least until the game is fully done. Those two just reek of toxic relationship drama, especially Kayla. I could maybe deal with Kim thinking about it like it was true love that was forced apart but eventually managed to find each other and be together again but that is probably ways of that i will play her route. The other girls i really have no issues with, Olivia is my personal favorite just because she's a redhead with green eyes and i just can't but not love her, its really sweet how she cares for her dad and all but outside of her i would say Michelle is my favorite and Julia probably after that. Those two are both just really sweet girls. Kimberly and Cynthia i just kind of imagine them as being just fuck buddies from what i played so far but that may change as i get more into their stories down the line and Alessa is a hottie for sure but i kind of just don't want to mess with her relationship, they look very good together

Oh she is my type for sure, i just didn't get much into her story yet to really know if i would like her personality wise. She is a major hottie appearance wise that's for sure though. Its something for a future playthrough, i plan to check out all girls solo routes at some point anyway but i think i will wait for more updates first is all

Hey, everyone!

I hope your year started off great and you had an amazing holiday season. It's time to kick off this year and get things rolling!
Things are fine on my end, though I did hit a bit of a snag last week with my video card probably dying.
The reworks are pretty much ready—almost all the animations look good. There are just two that still have some clunky movements I want to fix. Once those are done and I finish a few final tests, everything should be good to release, so that's coming pretty soon!
So, what happened to my video card?
I'm not 100% sure. I say 'probably dying' because it still works, but as soon as I start doing something demanding like rendering or even opening a game, it either freezes or crashes the driver, causing a blue screen.
I tried everything I know to fix it, even opening it up, but no luck. Fortunately, a friend came to my rescue and lent me his old RTX 2070. Lo and behold, it works perfectly, so it's definitely an issue with my card. I'll be using his card for rendering until I can afford a new one. I’m still about $900 short, so hopefully I can buy it next month, or the one after that.
On the bright side, I can keep working, so this won't hinder progress—only rendering speed, which has never been fast either way. Thankfully, progress continues, so it’s not all bad.
I'll post a new Chapter 4 preview later this week.

Please don't feel compelled to upgrade your sub or subscribe if you can't. Things will fall into place with time.

The contest prize really helped a lot; it's the amount equivalent to an entire Patreon month, so it will reduce the time I need to save up.

My RTX 3060 was only a four year old card, but I guess the heavy load I've been putting on it might have shortened its lifespan. Either way, my friend's 2070 has been handling the work for now. A normal 1080p image takes about 25~30 minutes, up from the 10~15 minutes the 3060 used to take.
I'm just happy I can still keep posing and rendering the scenes, that's what really matters at this point.

I thought the description was pretty clear, especially in the spoiler section. MC has a decent life with someone and it gets upheaved. The story starts properly a year later with the MC starting to recover emotionally and move on. People from his past and present weave back into his life and each one has some type of issue they are dealing with.

Its about a MC with a LOT of ex-girlfriends (or their sisters) who he all meets and possibly fucks, one left him, he didnt liked it and so on. A lot of drama but not this much of a big plot tbh
