I guess this game too has moved to the list of 1-2 updates a year. Gonna have to say that I was expecting this to happen as it only has 3 chapters out in over 2 years.

I understand but don't worry great games are worth waiting for
and this game is one of the greats it's definitely worth waiting for as long as it takes

I do know the game is good and will be in future too but I also know just like when it comes to Badik or SG they are decades away from completing.....bcuz their devs are too narcissistic to hire a team. hell most of us probably won't even be around to play its end.
It would suck if it goes the same path.
Even one of the games in your sign (TDF). it hasn't progressed shit in years and over a year has gone by it's steam release but nothing. I am not saying YC will go down the same path ..... hopefully it won't.

I understand the concern and that people like to compare games and developers from time to time. However, one thing you need to realize is that I don't have thousands of people supporting me every month, allowing me to hire a team like big developers do. I can only go so far and do what I can with the limited time I have.
The overhaul update is coming very soon and with it the Steam release (hopefully). After that, I will dedicate 100% of the time to Chapter 4's development, release it as soon as it's ready, and stick to the schedule I planned and shared in the roadmap.
I'm not abandoning this project, nor am I stalling—but there's only so much I can do with $500 a month. I need to eat too...

Usually when a game comes out and says it's an emotional story, I roll my eyes and dismiss it. There are so many instances where it things seem forced, or some tragedy is forced upon you with characters you don't really know or care about. However, this one has been great so far at building things up. It has been an emotional story so far, nothing that makes my eyes teary or anything, but one that still pulls at my emotions.
I feel has been done well so far with building up connections between characters. I like the overall progress and the interactions with all of the characters.
I'm probably in the minority here, but I'm sad that Tasha isn't a love interest, she's so hot XD

Prelude Chapter? What a waste. It's a slow release AVN. Put the Prelude stuff in as flashbacks in the core story. This means we have to wait a year or a year and a half to get back to the story. Fucking BaDIK all over again.
Are you blind? Chapter 4, chapter 5 and the reworked previous chapters will all be released this year.

I don't know if this is public info yet, but I heard Chaquin0 is not 100% dedicated to developing the game anymore. People are not supporting him so he had to go back to working a fulltime job and then working on the game after hours

Which is obviously delusional, this avn wont suddenly start to release a update every 3 months. I dont really get why devs feel the need to put this kind of pressure on themself when its obvious that they are NEVER EVER be able to make the deadline lol
Even less as he intends to work on other stuff surrounding the avn
