I'm not sure if it's just me or not, but I didn't feel connected to any of the characters in the story, unfortunately—something that usually comes quite easily to me. It's definitely not the content itself, because several characters have rather interesting elements: between Julia and the ex-convict, Michelle and her panic attacks, and Olivia with a father who's slowly dying, I’d say we can rule that out.

So it's either the writing that didn’t click for me, or maybe it's the protagonist who pulled me out of the narrative (he's not mr. interesting, being basically a gray man without ambitions, dreams, or real struggles in life aside from having dealt with and moved past being left by his ex since chapter 1—it would’ve been more interesting if Zeke had been the protagonist, tbh).
Maybe it’s a mix of both, with a sprinkle of unconvincing interest from the girls (except for Julia and Michelle, who are the exception to the rule, imo).

P.S.: Aiden was way more handsome with his hair long :p

But seriously though, give it time. We are only 3 chapters in so far and have barely started to get to know many of the girls. Some he has known for longer than others but as the player we are just getting to know them.

Tbh, i like the avn but i agree with him partially (not about the preference for mcs long hair tho :LOL:).

I think the only person i really like in this story is michelle. Julia and Olivia are "nice" but not really memorable and to everyone else im either indifferent or have partial negative impressions (MC, Zeke, Keyla, MC's Ex).

I usually like/prefer flawed characters over "perfect" ones but in this case they seem to lack any kind of redeeming qualitys (ok keyla is at least hot) to make up for their flaws. They are either not really interresting or kinda self-centered jerks. I hope this will change when will learn more about the characters.

It feels like nobody is ... loyal to nobody, not even the mc and his best friend but they are all kinda judgemental about each other.

Why are these people even hanging out with each other? Habit? It doesnt feel like they like each other a lot lol

Maybe MC should just switch town, develop and mature a bit and start fresh without encountering 3 ex-girlfriends every single day :LOL:

Absolutely! He looked so cool with that mane, definitely stood out from the norm. That short haircut is sooooo boring. I’ve seen it a thousand times already. And honestly, it leans toward the uglier side with that huge parting that almost looks like early-stage baldness.

It's possible I have bad tastes :p And I'll give the novel more time to cook, sure. Let’s see if, by the end, I can see them as something more than just gorgeous girls.

Still, thinking about it while writing the previous message, I really think the MC is a big issue for the story right now. He needs direction, a dream—something more than being a drone in a sterile work environment with zero hobbies after hours. His life basically doesn’t exist outside of meeting and bonding with the girls. Obviously, all of this is just my humble opinion, other than the haircut, that is an hard fact, indisputable and objectively true :p

Dev Log #15 - Chapter 4

Over the past few weeks, I’ve finished posing almost all of Kimberly’s route scenes, as well as some of the miscellaneous ones as I write them.

I’m also testing some smaller additions to the overall game, but I’ll talk more about those once they’re fully implemented. Hopefully, they will be ready and working by Chapter 4 update.

Speaking of things coming with Chapter 4, I’ve started adding some Steam achievements to the game and "designing" their icons. I originally wanted to create some custom art for them, but the ones I made looked like they belonged in a totally different game. So instead, I will use actual in-game images—and if they don’t look good enough, I can still rework them before release.

While some achievements will be straightforward, I also want to tie a few of them to very specific choices that lead to unique outcomes. So, some will be earned just by playing normally, but others will require tougher, more specific decisions.

Here are some of the achievements I’ve added on Steam for testing. And again—these icons might change, or they might stay as they are.

Kimmy is still my fav, but I'm doing a new Julia pt now. Man she is fire. If Kimmy wasn't in the game I'd be 100% into her route. But as it is, she still only comes second.

I like Julia alot I have a hard time picking between her and Michelle which is why I say I don't have a favorite in this game
