Having one of only 2 choices locked behind supporter wall is, to use the game's descriptor, a 'buzzkill'. I was interested to try this game, but that turned me off completely. There are other, less obnoxious ways to try and steer folks toward supporting. Clunky UI doesn't help. (Can't restart, only continue. Attempting to use certain letters while customizing name - C, A - opens save menu or advances game. Wife's name always shows as Ellie in chat list.)

This game is on my "check back later" list for sure. I hope it turns out well. I also like the... framework?.. that you made to create this. Although it's buggy and not there yet, it's still interesting to see and play, again: hoping it gets polished up and this turns into a good game.

Finally, just my personal preference: i always love to see mystery ntr or semi-mystery cuckold+(like marina1) in these ntr and cuckold games, the more scenes along those lines the better IMO. =p

I agree. I understand that one method of implementing paywalls can be to have certain storylines (hopefully side stories) locked behind supporter-only choices. But if it is a main line, that feels bad to general audience I think. And when there are only two options, and one is pay, then you are now not just paywalling a story line, but you have jsut completely removed choice from the player. Just adding another line at that point helps this a lot, imo.

Yea, these are things that were bad to me too.

I started new game, my wife texted me some topless pictures from the gym, my boss promoted me, and then the game ended. All over in two minutes.

I was confused as I never saw most of the screenshots from the first post. So I replayed and this time got annoyed at my wife for trying to send nudes. This time, the plot continued.

Maybe there should be warning for this in game? It seems counter-intuitive that you must say NO to the first lewd content you are offered if you want to continue the game.

Edit: Sorry I was playing v0.1, I do not know if this is still the same in the new version.

OK... I tried new 0.2.1 version and found with big surprise that there is locked now behind paywall even content, which was available in 0.1.0! I tell you, that I seen soo many games so far, but never seen this kind of bullshit at amount like this, especially in game which was literally on start. You said that we helped you to "improve" your game. I personally didn't seen ANY thing, that I pointed at to be corrected now, so why this bold statement?! What a shame...

Thread goes on ignore list, cause I'm not more interested in this foul project.

Assuming no one decides to drop the money and share the code, \assets\js\combined2.js seems to handle some of the code checking. It can probably either be bypassed by editing the file or memory. I might try to fiddle around with it later, though my JS is pretty lacking.

Can someone share the code? Or edit the game files to get the full experience of the game? One of the worst things when you want to play something like this is always having the full experience blocked by paywalls. It's easier to put a bonus for supporters to unlock a sneakpeek or an extended scene, it completely takes away the player's immersion by blocking decisions and leaving only one story line to follow.

Are there any actual choices in the game? All I saw were single answer lines and stuff that was locked.
Not much of a game if there are no choices to make.

Really, guys? Did I anger you that much? Pretty sure some people have been looking for something like this for a long time. And the code behind it was really unique...

I think creating your own engine can set you up for disappointment. You are aware of how much extra effort went into it, but the players are just here for the content. And new engines are usually buggier than existing ones, so probably you must continue to work on improving the engine instead of building content.

I do respect the effort though. It is a cool engine and I thought it worked surprisingly well. It was nice being able to hold ctrl to skip text like a renpy game. The texting interface was interesting. I am glad to see someone trying new things instead of just delivering another poorly designed twine game. I do hope you continue your efforts as I can see this becoming a solid game once there is more to it.

Just right now is closer to demo in terms of what is available. And it is disappointing to play demo and get message "you must pay to experience properly." At this stage in game lifespan, intention should be to impress players so once they are finished with available content, they may pay to support you creating more. Once you have a solid base game, maybe then you pivot to "subscriber only" events, as players can enjoy what is available then decide to pay for extra.
