Not every time, just depends on how far you are along and if you got past any of the triggers in the update. Like for the upcoming update (v43 yet to hit F95) If you are mid-game, and chose to stay on the trans path, and have NOT done the the dinner yet, then you should probably be fine.
There are times back-end code changes have occurred, but not for the last couple versions.
Oh, and as for the "Text-Only or HTML games with no graphics" discussion.. il do a half feed to the trolls.

That's basically like saying the same thing about books and that that they are completely unnecessary, since you can watch a movie instead or just use your imagination. Like wow. "Why would someone write a book like A Song of Ice and Fire or The Lord of the Rings? Make it a comic or make the visions come alive on screen, otherwise if I'm going to use my imagination, I don't need some text for it."

First of all, I never said that it's "unnecessary", I've expressed that I cannot understand how someone would prefer HTML porn games over well done games with decent graphics. This is enhanced by the place we're at. Second, books are still not the same as text adventures.
