You are correct, it would be far worst. Honestly, I seen mothers do so really horrible things to their children this one is rather tame considering some of the other stuff I've seen and heard mothers doing to their children.So I'm only at the beginning, and I don't know what kind of environment you grew up Zargon_games , but a women that literally pushed you out of her body, fed you with her breast and wiped your ass for years, won't kick you out of the house and send you to military because you walked into the bathroom while she was showering.

While the military school reaction for walking in on the shower is a bit extreme from the "action/reaction" perspective, there are, sadly, stories all the time about neglect, abuse and killing of children by their mothers for any variety of reasons. Some are mental issues of the mother; some are drug/alcohol related (and could be mental issues); some allow their boyfriends to sexually abuse the kids - some do it themselves (also, potential mental issues); and some have stood by while an abusive partner beat on them as well as their child(ren) to the point of killing the child(ren). Yeah: there are many monsters out there that have given birth. Whether I'd call them "mothers" or not is questionable since that term connotes some degree of caring and love to most people (unless followed by "fuckers"). Not aware of anyone I know directly, but if you watch your local news over the course of one week, you will likely see at least one story on a mother of this nature.
Kind of a weird thing to fixate on when probably 95% of child abuse is committed by fathers, not mothers. That's not to say that mothers have not done horrific things, but I think the betting lines on which parent is more likely to abuse their kids would lean at least 20:1 money on fathers.

Yeah, my two eldest grandkid's bio mother fits into that general category. She's done so much damage to them over the years.
